Every episode gets better
26 March 2020
This was the best episode yet. Every episode gets better. The writers and people who run the show seem to really understand teachers. When will they understand the real star of this show is A.J. She is the one people actually tune in to see.

Since Lainey left
26 March 2020
I know the show wants Erica and Dana to be the beauties on this show, but my vote is for Emmy. She was cute as a little girl and is pretty now as a teenager. Like the person she portrays she will also be very pretty as an adult.

Better every week

I love the stories, love the music and love Jane Levy. But I had no idea she could sing so well. We need to see more of that.

I am falling in love with All. Am I the only one? It was also nice to see this old fashioned movie house.

Great!

I enjoy any episode where Lainey sings. I researched the actor who plays Aunt Julie. She has had to struggle to get to this stage of life. I admire that.

This show was so much funnier with Paul Reubens. They should have kept him on the show.

Wow!

Every episode gets better and better. The drama is very interesting. Interesting enough for me to like it, and I hate drama. The musical part is even better. My son use to sing you have to fight, for your right. to party, when he was a teenager.

This show gets better and better with every episode. It has a great combination of old and new music. They use songs that I have never heard before.

Zoey sings
17 February 2020
Last week I wondered out loud if Jane Levy would ever sing. This show opened with Zoey singing. And she did a very nice job. However, the musical highlight of this show was Peter Galhager singing Van Morrison's "Moondance". It was discouraging when Zoey did not know either the song or the composer. Now I remember Van first did this song before my daughter was born and she is older than Zoey. It doesn't affect how I feel. I still think Jane Levy is super cute and a great actress. I still find the show unusual and great.

Very Different. Great
15 February 2020
I first watched this show when I saw Jane Levy starred in it. I have had a crush on her since "Suburgatory". Besides being pretty, she is a great actress. I wonder if she will ever sing on this show. Then I heard the music and I was hooked. There was also Mary Steenburgen, a great actress and Peter Gallagher. I never knew he could sing.

Rosa
11 February 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This was a very good episode. I can't believe Fox ever cancelled this series. Yes I can. They are a bunch of ignorant SOBs.

The only bad thing is seeing Raymond Holt as a patrol officer. He make a far better captain. Vanessa Bayer was hilarious. They get some good guest stars on there like Zooey Deschannel. I also enjoyed the scene near the end where Jake and Amy tell each other they want a child. This was a great romance story.

But I titled this Rosa. She is the sexiest woman on TV. She is pretty with her normal hair but as a blonde she is gorgeous. And I love it when she laughs, Ha - Ha. She does not laugh that often.

Where was Rosa?
11 February 2020
I missed her athletic, sexy, stunts. I missed her stoic laugh - Ha Ha. I don't miss Gina at all, but without Rosa I probably would not watch this show.

We need more films like this
15 January 2020
So the writer/director was snubbed by the Oscars. And the industry wonders why the audience is no longer there. It's because people won't pay your high prices for the crap you are producing. Few of the really good films were even nominated for an Oscar. So keep producing films that only others in Hollywood will go to see, and you will go broke. Now for this film. Like another reviewer I have never read the book or seen previous movies. But I really enjoyed this movie. My only complaint is that because of the constant change of time (like in all other movies that use that method of transition) the story is hard to follow. I must say the actress playing the lead and Laura Dern are superb. I have long been in love with Laura Dern and now even more so. I also am in love with Emma Watson but was very disappointed with her performance. I'm so glad I saw her in "Beauty and the Beast".

wonderfully different
13 January 2020
Jane Levy cannot play a teenager any longer, but she is still very, very pretty.

And the basic format is a musical. I hope they produce and play more episodes and the music is just as good. The choreography is excellent. It reminds me of the Disney High School Musicals of which I think the dancing was great. The biggest problem I see is the number of performers. This has to be expensive.

What should have happened
3 January 2020
I had a dream last night where this show succeeded. After Chicago, Sue went to Chicago to be manager in a hotel. After a few years doing that, she discovers it is not how she should have gone. She goes back to college to get a masters in School Administration and is recruited by a large private school to be a counselor. She was excellent at helping people both in high school and college. The only couple that ended up the way they left off on "The Middle" was Brick and Cindy. Brick becomes a world famous lecturer and writer about fonts. He and Cindy are married with 4 children. That means they had sex one time more than Mike and Frankie. Axl did marry Lexie and they have 2 children, brats. Axl is in charge of the Chicago office for the company he went to work for in Colorado. Lexie gets an offer to run her Dad's company so she decides to move to New York. Axl says he is not going to New York. None of the children have the same poor work ethic of their mother. As Lexie leaves, we see a backlight behind her and Devin Levin standing there. She and Axl get back together and marry and she gets Axl and his kids straight. Axl was at his best when the two of them were together in college. The headmaster who recruited Sue as counselor is grooming her to take his place when he retires. Meantime she has married Shawn who is a surgeon at Chicago Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He has recruited an Aniesthesiologist from Philadelphia named Dr. Barry Goldberg who moves to Chicago with his wife, Lainey. Sue recruits Lainey to run the music program at her school. Lainey, however, still wants to become a rock star. Sue convinces her she can do both and manages to get her a gig as the opening act for "Casting Crowns". Most of their members have another job as youth pastors at their home church. They convince Lainey she can do two jobs well. So Lainey takes the job as music director on the condition she can hire the neice of her former principal, in Philidelphia as her assistant. Sue is a highly successful school administrator and Lainey is the leader of a Christian Rock band.

Disney finally woke up
31 December 2019
Disney finally gave us a treat of one episode of GMW. It is the first time I have watched Disney in months. And it will be the last time I watch it until they run another GMW episode. They should have never deleted the show from their schedule.

What an unusual movie
11 December 2019
I rarely watch this network. But they play reruns of an old show I enjoy, saw this advertised and it looked interesting. Aisha Dee is cute, and a very good actress. She has a bright career ahead of her. Not true for the other actress, Kamiko Glenn. She talks through her nose and is hard to understand. But now for the movie. The reason it was so interesting to me is because although it was obviously meant for young people, I am not one of those. I recently found out, at a class reunion, that a girl with whom I was in love in high school, but never told, had died this past year. Even though we were not close over the past 50 years, I had not even thought of her over the years. We briefly talked a few years ago at a previous reunion. Don't misunderstand, I dearly love my wife of 53 years. But all of a sudden, I wished I had told Cindy how I felt all those many years ago. Now I can't tell her. Strange, huh? One final thought from a retired first responder. Don't text and drive.

A Christmas Love Story (2019 TV Movie)

Wonderful music, terrible storY
9 December 2019
The music in this movie was much better than any other Hallmark movie. Kristen Chenoweth's singing is far and above any other artist today. Disney found that out when she sang a duet with the star of that movie Decendents and blasted her off the stage. But when will Hallmark learn they have to do more and produce a romance movie for Hallmark Hall of Fame? Their movies in previous years we so good, ex. "The Russel Girl","Beyond the Blackboard","The Magic or Ordinary Days","Front of the Class" and so many more. While this movie had great music, it was as good as my local high school chorus, it was just another rehashed Hallmark love story. Next time I see one, the rating goes DOWN.

I'm so glad this show is on the air. Teachers are heroes that are not paid enough. And A.J. Michalcha is so talented, and sexy.

This is much better than the first Frozen.

If Disney produced more movies like this, maybe people would actually go to their movies. The story was great. The animation was wonderful. You must at least stay for the duet with Elsa and her mother. Wonderful! The rest of the music is so -so. It sounds like all other Disney singers, little girls with little voices. They had one previous good singer, in Decendents, Christen Chenowith
