Next guest is Levy as singer Gino Vanelli, a then popular singer with a hairy chest. The joke in this is he keeps getting hairier during his song "I Just Wanna Stop" until turns into a gorilla!. Rick Moranis as Ringo Starr (made up like Ringo circa 1965).He does his Beatles "The End" drum solo. Moranis also does a very funny George Carlin impression. Rosato appears as Tony Orlando arriving in one of Iaccoca's cars, he and Iaccoca sing a song for government assistance. The horn of the car gets stuck as credits roll.

Those Two Zany Ambulance Drivers-Flaherty and Levy as two goofball EMT workers who go for laughs while picking up patients.

Very funny SCTV News as Earl keeps complaining at yelling at the crew on air.
Funny commercial about Fire Captain (Dave) who has a smoke alarm with a snooze button.

My Favorite Episode
An entire half hour spoof of Fantasy Island and one of the funniest shows of all time. The only interruption is a commercial for Ronco No Sweat, which is air conditioning in a sauna.
Levy does a great Ricardo Montalban impression, he sometimes lapses into a Cordoba car commercial, which Montalban was doing a the time "Corinthian leather". Candy is hilarious as the excitable Herve Villachaize Tattoo character. The guests for fantasies include Flaherty and Dave Thomas as two rock stars who want to be comedians. Andrea is a mousy violinist who wants danger and intrigue in her life. O'Hara plays a klutzy jet setter who wants old time glamour. The laughs continue when the two rock stars are turned into Bing Crosby and Bob Hope. The violinist becomes Ingrid Bergman in Casablanca. She does a funny song I Go To Casablanca to the tune of I Go To Rio. The jet setter becomes a 1930s tough talking broad who dances like Ginger Rogers. Montalban gets angry at little Tattoo, kicking him across the room and ripping out his hair. The whole thing then turns into a Wizard Of Oz spoof. There was enough here for several shows and more laughs than any other.

Movie Of The Week is Fighting Air Dogs, a parody of WWII air battles, funniest part is Lin Ye Tang as a Japanese bomber pilot. Off We Go Into The Wild Blue Yonder is heard as the credits roll.

Long Distance commercial-O'Hara is a woman complaining she does not get a call from her friend as the phone keeps ringing.
Melonville Snooker Championship-Lou Jaffe annoys the contestants in the pool room.
The final sketch is an Alfred Hitchcock's Presents, with Candy doing a good impression of Hitchcock. The story has Flaherty as man wanting to murder his annoying wife but he keeps failing. Hitchcock comes back at the end acts out scenes from Psycho and The Birds. Freeze frame and credits roll

UFO Sharkey has a very funny Don Rickles impression by John Candy. He insults some ethnic types talking about space ships.
Enough About Me -motor mouthed Katherine Timber talks over a guest (Andrea Martin) who spent years living in Africa.
Two quick sketches follow-funny promo Fish Police as cops arrest fish committing crimes and a beer commercial Biller Hi Life with two punch drunk boxers (Flaherty and Levy).
The long final sketch is Bad Acting In Hollywood, a spoof a then syndicated show called That's Hollywood which showed old film clips narrated by Tom Bosley. Candy plays Bosley. The clip is a spoof of old 1940s "B" pictures in which costumes suddenly change and actors forget their lines. Bosley appears at the end and he plugs his other show Happy Days. Johnny LaRue is Mr Science in a funny spoof of The Omen. A blond haired kid named Damien makes Johnny drink acid and electrocutes him. Johnny gives him a spanking.

One of the funniest SCTV News is next. Floyd talks about the station being haunted. Earl hears demonic voices calling him. Floyd tells a scary news item and Earl goes into shock.
The lowkey and senile Mayor Tommy Shanks (Candy) has Fireside chat and talks about logs.
4th Degree is a hard hitting interview show where host Chuck Clark (Flaherty) badgers and slaps guest Gov Jerry Brown (Dave Thomas).
Count Floyd has a spot on spoof of Ingmar Bergman films Whispers Of The Wolf. Catherine O'Hara looks exactly like Liv Ullmann in this, it is mostly a parody of Persona, with two depressed sisters (Andrea is the other one), their faces switch in the funniest scene.
Words To Live By has Dave as the high priest of a witches coven. He does an incantation and blows up. Big Jim and Billy Sol watch from heaven and the credits roll.
A New Station Manager
Season 2 just gets better and better with this being another hilarious episode.
Shoot At The Stars is a game show with Eugene Levy as the host. Catherine O'Hara is a butch contestant who wins a chance to shoot some celebrities. Dave Thomas as John Rutter (Ritter), Andrea Martin as Chalo (Charo) and Joe Flaherty as Robert Groulet (Goulet).
A very funny SCTV News has Earl giving an editorial where his rants about his noisy neighbors.
Guy announces Mrs Prickley is the new station manager. She pushes Guy off in the set in his wheelchair and says there will be no more sports on the channel.
A hilarious Jaws spoof is next (Jaws 23). There is a lack of sharks in Amity and the mayor (Thomas) tells the chief (Levy) it is hurting tourism. Andrea does a funny parody of the scene where the woman slaps the chief (here she tweaks his nose). Flaherty does a great Quint, now legless and has stories about mackerels.
Sore Losers has Dave as a defense lawyer who gets angry when he loses.
Words To Live By has Mrs Prickley talking more about her ideas, Guy puts her in his wheelchair and pushes her off the set. He prays for ratings as the credits roll.

This One Has The Classic High Q Sketch
Andrea Martin stars things off with a funny yoga program. She drinks green tea but spits it out.
Then a funny dental commercial for Water Spray PocketPic, John Candy gets sprayed in the face.
The first sketch is a hilarious game show parody called "High Q". Eugene Levy is the short tempered host Alex Trebel (modeled on Trebek). He has to deal with some incredibly dumb high school students, including one played by Catherine O'Hara who keeps buzzing in before the host finishes the question.
Another funny commercial is LaRue Towers with Johnny as a slumlord. He keeps yelling at a large family in one of his broken down flats.
Marriage Counselor is Dave Thomas trying to help a woman (O'Hara) whose husband is not present but she speaks for him.
Contact lens commercial with Andrea and Eugene.
Undersea World is Jacquess Cousteau (Flaherty) having his team dive down a well. He ponders what could be down there as the credits roll.

Funny episode. It begins with The Mirthmakers, a documentary on comedy, with Orson Welles. He walks by huge photos of comedy legends like Laurel & Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and ...Bobby Bittman.

Orson talks Bobby who gets serious about his comedy. Dr Cheryl Kinsey is also interviewed.

Modular Shoe Kit is a funny commercial about shoe coverings which change your shoes to different fashions.
Chinese Fairy Tales-Lin Ye Tang is forced to give his tales happy endings but he doesn't like it.
Triple Feature Movie has the same scene done in a jungle, a western and a science fiction movie. Catherine O'Hara plays the heroine in each one and seems to be imitating Maureen O'Hara. Flaherty plays Robert Mitchum (jungle), John Candy is John Wayne (western) and Dave is a standard sci fi hero. They all have happy endings and the credits roll.

Falcons And Oysters is a game show about falcons stealing pearls.
Funny commercial with Johnny LaRue using grease to get out grease stains.
How The Middle East Was Won is a great movie parody of "Lawrence Of Arabia/The Wind And The Lion". Levy is Sean Connery and O'Hara is Candice Bergin. The Peter O'Toole, Richard Burton and Richard Harris impressions are back in this sketch. Big Jim and Billy Sol come back at the end and blow up. The credits roll.
