Really bad with accents that are odd
22 January 2020
I couldn't get into this story with the accents all over the place. Most of the people sound American, even the daughter, then there's the son with the accent that sounds American with the odd Irish/Scottish combo thrown in at the end of sentences for supposed Norse people? American movie producers must feel like they need to "Americanise" everything because we're too stupid to understand English spoken with other accents for authenticity. They're making our kids unaware of other cultures too.

They call this an artistic masterpiece?
22 July 2019
The Mona Lisa is an artistic masterpiece. The Mona Lisa is more than 500yrs old and people still remember that masterpiece of art. This movie is not a masterpiece and will be lucky to be remembered in 100yrs.

The Mona Lisa is a masterpiece in many ways and I could look at it for hours without being bored. This movie is 1hr and 38mins long and I turned it off after 40mins.

This is only an artistic masterpiece to narcissistic people who want to act like they're smart. The same people who used to watch Big Bang Theory and act like a Physicist just because they watched it. Enjoy being fake smart lol.

Sick and sickeningly bad.
31 May 2019
What a grasping movie and really sick in the light of men like the two Petersons killing their wives and Chris Watts killing his wife and kids for his own happiness. The guy would have gone through with killing his wife if the other lady would have said yes to being with him. He didn't love his wife, or realise he needed her (like it says). Then at the end when Brosnan's character called him the most noble man he'd ever met I laughed. What a joke a 'noble' man would not be making excuses about killing his wife because she'd be humiliated if they divorced. However, a selfish man would go running home worried that his wife is going to die and he'd be without his own comfortable life after the affair lady said no. Saying a woman needs to be killed because they couldn't cope with divorce humiliation (while constantly talking about your own want for happiness) sounds like an excuse other wife killers have used so they must have watched this in their own victimhood.

You can't be rich, successful, unmarried, morally sound, child-free and happy in Hollywood
29 April 2019
As I said Hollywood loves to make rich, successful, unmarried childless people look like they're all miserable, unscrupulous, and to "settle down" i.e. be happy.

Here we have a con artist who is somehow the good guy because he has a cute kid. He keeps stealing from people and then tells his daughter "we don't steal" when she went to steal from the woman. His limit is hot rich ladies who he will steal from by "falling in love" and mooching off them instead.

There's not really much that's cute about this movie beyond the appearance of the kid. She acts like a rude little brat and then smiles and we're supposed to think the whole package is cute.

Another example of Hollywood telling people you can't be rich, successful (your own definition of successful), childless and unmarried. You have to feel bad being alone, so you make kids with whoever you can find and make a market for their future movies (in the form of your own little consumers).

Fake religious propaganda wrapped up in a (also fake) pretty actress box
28 April 2019
The actress playing the 'protagonist' is nothing like the obese lady who stole medical records to give them to a group of clinic bombers. The first bit of fake.

The second bit of fake is the story overall. She left her job not because she got sick of seeing abortions, or finding a God, but because she was dissatisfied with her wage and conditions. Thirdly, the fetus (that looked like a fully formed tiny baby) trying to escape was fake beyond the CGI.

If you're going to dumb people down to scare them into being controlled, the least you could do is show what a basic think like a fetus looks like.

Maybe next they can make a movie about autism being caused by vaccines, or something else fictional so all the fetuses 'saved' from abortion can die from not being vaccinated.

Or maybe a story about a fetus "saved" from abortion that then has a life of neglect and abuse until they die (like too many other neglected and abused kids pro-life people never have to care about).

Rubbish
18 January 2019
Another movie about men using women. People wonder why we have a problem with women being treated as things to be raped and murdered. These movies are part of the reason. Movies where men degrade women and storylines involve men making bets using women. One man here even uses a woman to try and win the bet and is supposedly redeemed when he falls in love with (the usual sex symbol in these movies "shaved is the expression" herself).

I'm sure she must have some sort of acting range beyond breasts, behind, vag and flirty smile to warrant having all the money. Yet to see it though.

Desperate grasping women and all sorts of men. Sickening display
6 January 2019
This was supposed to be about men not being 'that into' certain women, but some of the women weren't into the guys either with the frequency which they went from caring for one guy to caring for another.

Ginnifer's character reminded me of my sister who is so desperate for "the dream" that she puts up with rubbish from a procession of "men". Then unrealistically she had a man save her from men.

Jennifer Connolly's character was written as a miserable married woman and that misery was supposed to be more of a sin than a guy screwing around.

Scarlett's character was just a b word. She knew he was married and was so desperate for "the one" that she pursued a married man. When she figured out he wanted to stay with his wife she turned into a pariah or moral high ground (that she wasn't).

Jennifer Aniston's character was a selfish woman who wanted to get married to look better to other people. She was supposedly an intelligent accomplished woman, yet she didn't confront a male relative who picked at her for being single and old. Meh.

Drew's character was another desperate woman getting dove eyed over a guitar player, then dove eyed over someone else not long after.

This was a waste of talent and film.

Interesting and not at all racist propaganda against white people
6 January 2019
This program is frank about the root causes of those two gangs. Some people can't handle seeing white people like themselves being abusive, they have to still blame it on the people they were abusing.

How people can watch the history of abuse and oppression of certain people in their country and complain about having to see it is beyond me. Look at the couple of comments here from people calling this racist propaganda, how is it racist to show white police abuse of black kids? Black kids unable to walk down a street without being hassled about where they were going? Being treated like criminals for looking a certain way? You can't make yourself look white so you can stop being picked on again and again. Imagine that hopeless feeling.

How can people complaining about this act like a victim of a documentary? You aren't being thrown in jail for looking white. You are less empathetic than the people in this documentary.

People complaining about this program are clearly racists themselves if they can't even admit what our white relatives did to other people. I'm ashamed at the history we have and that doesn't make me a "self-hater". Those abusers may look like me, but they aren't me and I don't need to excuse their behaviour to make myself feel better.

Kids are stuck in still stuck there today, they can't walk down a street to school without being scared, they have to act tough and that in itself would drive you mad (as an adult). Kids who see no hope around them don't learn anything useful in school. They also have a poor quality education system and teachers, and have older gang members trying to use them and so on, so they're stuck.

The justice system created what they were scared of when they stopped kids walking down a street while they were doing nothing wrong. When they didn't allow them into the supposedly Christian Boys Scouts? Good lord. Now some white people say they were "proved right". Ah no, they created the mess and blame part of the mess for it.

Nothing will change without people stepping over the lines and treating each other as people who have dreams and hopes like themselves and not being scared that they want to steal what they have. America is hardly great at all (was it ever for everyone?).

A Christmas Romance (1994 TV Movie)

Cheesy and unrealistic
26 December 2018
I was a child when this movie was made. Hollywood movie plots told single mothers they needed a new father for their kids (like they still do today). So many kids have been abused in so many ways because there are men (and women) around who prey on single parents by pretending to like their kids. That is the vibe I got during this whole movie. Single man from the city is suddenly happy to have kids who aren't his. Holding hands with a little girl and calling her sweetheart etc. Single parents all have to be careful of predatory people while Hollywood tells you your kids need a father or mother with these unrealistic love interests. No one can be 'alone' (or uncommitted) according to Hollywood.

Boring and uncomfortable
25 December 2018
I sat down to watch this with my daughter thinking it would be funny, but she left after 2 minutes. It was boring, one forced joke after another with people who forgot what they were saying and looked uncomfortable. I felt uncomfortable for them (especially the female actress (not comedian) made to tell a joke about a penguin eating an ice cream. Really odd. There's no plot line other than telling one joke after another and most aren't funny despite the intent.

This movie is stupid
14 December 2018
There's telling the truth and then there's deliberately vulgar, rude and hurtful which is what people were before lying was supposedly invented. A woman telling a man she was pleasuring herself before their date is supposedly telling the truth, as opposed to just saying you were busy or doing something else.

The truths told in this are horrible and said by people who don't have any tact like a room filled with 3yr olds using adult language. Not really funny.

Bad acting all around and poor copy of other movies with men babysitting
13 December 2018
The kids were the worst actors in this. Even bully kids who are supposedly laughing have expressions of laughter that end at their mouths. The smallest child in this is a really terrible actor, she couldn't even pretend to sleep without making silly facial expressions. A lot of the adults looked like they just turned up to get a paycheck with emotionless performances. This is also clearly just another copy of better "man babysitting kids" movies intended to have kids laughing at kids ganging up on the supposedly bad adult, while one by one he wins them over starting with the youngest. E.g. Uncle Buck, The Pacifier (done better than this with a hit man scenario), "Are we there yet?"...

Preachy religious rubbish
13 December 2018
All it is is preachy religious rubbish intended to get people to believe in a Christian god. I watched an episode with a little girl preyed upon by a pedophile on the internet. The angels rushed to get her parents to save her (which they did) and then lengthy spiels about god loving everyone and having angels everywhere watching out for everyone ensued. Except we all know kids are raped and preyed upon daily without any angel or (supposedly) all powerful god intervention. This was utter tripe. Imagine being the parent of a child murdered by a pedophile and watching this thing that suggest your child wasn't worthy of being saved when a god could have (according to this). People in religions are fooled by all kinds of con artists because they have fallen for the forgiveness and trusting everyone messages they sell (at a financial and life cost).

Funny
25 November 2018
I never saw the original series, but this is funny IMO. Lots of certain people will not find it funny as seen in the reviews section, certain people who saw one ad and jumped in to defend their orange god. I watched it and found it funny and it is not only about their god who thinks he's a comedian on twitter and centre of the universe (like his fawning supporters clearly think too based on one ad).

That same orange president (not god) lives with a woman who has had endless plastic surgery (the first lady lol but not his last), yet we have reviews here talking about the actress in this show and plastic surgery. Clearly the above average rating here is not indicative of people who have all watched it.

Another sexist steam pile degrading women and expecting them to put up with cheating
25 November 2018
Another sexist steam pile summed up by a scene near the end where the guy is supposedly a hero (on par with Ghandi apparently)...for ceasing his cheating with his ex "mid blow job".

Clearly written, directed etc by men who have no clue, and enough money to think they deserve to do whatever they want.

Loved it
9 November 2018
Roseanne was never my favourite character onscreen or off. The fat naggy bigot slob act was old and so was her annoying laugh - mostly at whatever came out of her own mouth. If the show tanks it will be because her fat biggest slob fans all took off because she was given her rightful marching orders. Now they can go back to reading Trump's tweets and laughing about him being naughty, and reminisce about America's "great" days when white men could grab whatever they wanted.

Rubbish on all levels but the actors are the icing on the stink pile
15 September 2018
I would write a huge review but I don't want to wast much more time on this stink pile, so I will do the bare minimum unlike the two lead actors in this movie who didn't even do that.

Matthew McConaughey as a doctor was less convincing than 'ditzy eye candy' Cameron Diaz as one in Something About Mary.

He doesn't even act, he turns up every time, in every movie looking doe eyed at a woman and thinking he's smooth.

JLo only turned up for the pay check too, since she plays the same character every time too. One dimensional 'in love' woman with a sad background story of at least one dead parent.

Her music playing in the background as usual (and out of context most of the time). One example at the end where a song about her love not costing a thing plays- except her love did cost a lot of things including a few broken hearts.

Ah yes at the end it was neatly wrapped in a bow with both of their former loves happy and everyone happy, so those two could go off together into the sun set.

The end... barf.

Steaming pile that should be delivered to the producers doorsteps in a flaming bag
5 September 2018
Here we have Julia once again fake (OTT) laughing, raising her huge eyebrows, pouting her big mouth and fluttering her eye lashes to another pay check. After she is told that she comes across as flirty and should change, she continues being flirty with the reporter (despite being engaged). Wearing her wedding dress for her wedding with another man on one of those occasions.

Then she looks around for him at her pre-wedding party and acted like a jealous grumpy b word because she couldn't see him. She'd just been through scenes where she apologized to former fiances she ditched at the altar for hurting them, and then did it to another one right before the wedding - then did it to the reporter at the altar.

Yet the reporter still was up for it with this classy piece of work thing at the end after she wide eyed her way back in again.

Then there's Gere playing the knight in shining armour again. In Pretty Woman he was the rich guy who saved the pro at the end and in this one he is the one who saved her from being a single loser (ah yes he also helped her think of selling her lamps in NY and he was rich so she'd be set up (again).

In the beginning he was writing disparaging things about her - that were actually correct and she got him fired. Then he was her champion from about midway through the movie and even defended her when her family were saying their piece about her and her mistreatment of all of them (and in the case of her father how much money he had wasted on her weddings for nothing). She could have defended herself, but once again he was cast as that darn knight who little girls are taught to expect to ride in.

I had to wipe my TV with anti-bacterial wipes after watching this crap.

Julia was at one stage the highest paid actress in Hollywood because she had the innocent little girl and laughing at everything a man said down pat. Shameful when Joan Cusack is a better actress who missed out because she wasn't considered a Pretty Woman. I would have rather watched her in a movie where she and a man were equals.

I enjoyed it but US bigots won't
17 May 2018
I really enjoyed this movie. The acting was really good, the suspense was fine with me. It wasn't the best movie in the world, but from the negative reviews you can see many bigots watched and took offence at a Muslim not being the bad guy. An American was the bad guy, and they couldn't handle that. That makes this movie anti-American apparently. Whereas, when people from other countries are bad guys in other movies, it isn't considered anti- those countries by blind bigots. If a Muslim is the bad guy it's just normal and natural apparently (even though most of the crimes committed in America are done so by Americans). In y country when someone is the same background as me and committing a terrorist offence, I don't take it personally but you can see here that other people do.

Immature "Disney TV" acting for a supposed adult character getting married
26 April 2018
The female lead talks to the camera like a teenager on a Disney channel show. Giggling stupidly at things that aren't funny, making odd excited facial expressions (and other supposed emotions that look faked here). Talking in a little girl high pitched voice.

Anyway, she's engaged to a "nice" guy, seemingly because he was nice (and that is all the shallow basis she needs for a life-long relationship). He let her do whatever she wanted - the female dream according to Hollywood.

Along comes a guy she had a crush on in the past and Mr nice Guy is suddenly Mr boring and the crush is some inflated dream of a man. In the end she and Mr Nice Guy are back together because the crush was a fake nice guy. Let's be real, he was the male equivalent of self-centred her.

This movie is an example of why the divorce rates will continue being high, people living in fantasies rather than getting married to people they really love. Expecting excitement every day instead of life. Juvenile adults all about themselves and their own wants.

Hardly a movie young women or men should be watching and thinking is romantic.

What kind of men talk about sucking their own d*ck?
1 February 2018
This movie was trash. It can be summed up by the one conversation where one of the friends admits to sucking his own d*ck. That is the beginning of the downhill rubbish included in this movie that's supposedly romantic. Two people meet (over an old style video game in a shop) and that is meant to be the basis for a great romance? People swearing constantly and talking about dry hump8ing? Rubbish movie deserves a negative rating rather than a 1.

Boring, corny with really bad OTT acting
15 December 2017
If you like a movie where the actors look like they're reading lines with huge bulging excited eyes, contrived situations (like twins that always appear together and smiling), soppy rubbish thrown in such as home made decorations (including one where a baby supposedly ate uncooked dried macaroni off it without choking), and like to hear the phrase "I love you" said constantly by an annoying family (said phrase even appearing on an inflatable Christmas decoration), then this is the rubbish for you.

Woman wants a man to marry so she can go on holidays
20 November 2017
This movie is your typical chick flick where a poor woman explains why she's marrying a stranger (she doesn't love) by saying at least she'll get a holiday and she won't be alone anymore. That last bit thrown in there because women can't be alone apparently. They need to marry someone even if they're the brother of the person they love. Meanwhile, the single bloke she's marrying is sleeping with a married woman behind her husband's back. Charming. Hard to like any of them really.

Boring and contrived
22 September 2017
Really dull and the pregnant daughter stands around holding her supposed belly way too much. I've never seen a real pregnant woman hold onto their bellies as much as she did in that movie and I was one a few times. The whole movie is filled with contrived scenes you can guess will lead to other predictable supposedly funny or emotional scenes.

Horrible show about a pair of con artists
12 September 2017
She changes clothes the whole episode and pretends to do things with her fake nails while he walks around in flip flops and pretends he does the hard work. Then they trot out the cute kids with the eldest helping mom do something token like plant a plant (while mom has a disgusted expression on her face looking at dirt). The worst bit is that this show has been used as a platform by those two to sell real estate flipping conferences to people. People pay thousands of dollars and turn up to learn from them and they show up in video form. The conferences encourage people to increase their credit limit so it can be spent on more expensive conferences. It's like a pyramid scheme featuring those two. And people wondered how they could be so rich just doing this show. Nothing reality about this show and no help for anyone but themselves.
