Station 19: I Know This Bar (2020)
Not the Best Start
The first part to the crossover as well as the third season premiere of Station 19 wasn't that good. It wasn't the best start to the crossover. I thought it wasn't as exciting as what it could have been or what they made it out to be in the promos. I thought there were certain areas it lacked. Although we got to see several Grey's Anatomy characters, I felt there were some that didn't get enough screentime as they should have, but it was still somewhat good. However, I did enjoy watching the flashbacks back and forth from a few weeks before the start of the season which resolved a few things from the events of the season 2 finale last year. Dean and Nikki broke up, Vic introduced Jackson to the crew and Travis successfully managed to get the charges dropped after he was arrested. Andy and Sullivan's relationship remains tense despite the two declaring their feelings, but he strictly states they can't be together cause of career opportunities. I did not see that coming. I thought he was simply trying to keep his leg injury a secret I didn't think there was more behind it. Also I feel bad that Andy and her dad have hit a rough patch.
I have to say though I felt this season's atmosphere has changed. It's not the same as it used to be and I think we can expect a lot of changes to come throughout the rest of the season. Despite the changes though, I am still looking forward to seeing how everything will play out for all the characters and their relationships.
Great Ending to the Crossover
Originally when the crossover began I was disappointed in the beginning with Station 19. I didn't think it was as exciting as I thought it would be. However, Grey's Anatomy more than made up for it. I loved how we got to see the residents as patients and them being treated by the doctors while getting to learn more about each of them. Helm finally and accidentally admitted she loved Meredith, Casey briefly suffered from PTSD and Blake... turns out he isn't a big of a jerk as he appears. Blake's past is revealed where it turns out both his parents are dead and he was raised by his loving grandmother whom he has a very close relationship with, so much so he didn't want to move to Seattle and leave her. Although I still hate how he outed Levi to the others about Meredith's insurance fraud, I'd say after the injuries he suffered in this episode he has payed his dues.
Aside from the residents I loved seeing all the doctors at work trying to save them and getting to see some new interactions like Cormac and Jo. I loved how they were both caring for the abandoned baby Jo brought in after briefly kidnapping him. Thankfully she didn't get into trouble and I continue to love watching her friendship with Link. They have become one of my favourite friendships on the show. However one of the saddest moments was with poor Bailey. Although Bailey had annoyed me this season by firing Meredith, Richard and Alex, she didn't deserve to lose her baby and it broke my heart to see her in so much pain. I'm glad she was comforted by Richard and Meredith in the end, showing their improved and restored relationships. The other moments I enjoyed in this episode was seeing Teddy and Owen get engaged. I knew it was going to happen. I just knew it. Plus Schmico are cuter than ever.
Overall this was a satisfying ending to the epic crossover between Station 19 and Grey's Anatomy.
I Miss Warrick
This is a such a great episode and one of my personal favourites. This episode was such a wonderful and heartfelt tribute to Warrick, one of my favourite characters. It was nice to see the team remembering Warrick and how he still lives on in their memories and hearts long after he passed away and I really enjoyed seeing the newest members like DB, Finn and Morgan getting to learn about him. It was also great watching the team digging into Warrick's past, learning more about his neighbourhood and the people he knew and helped. Warrick was one of the show's best characters and he is still strongly missed. I'm glad the CSI team still have his back and he can continue to rest in peace with both his family and neighbourhood safe and sound.
Spider-Man: Far from Home (2019)
Spider-Man: Far From Home was Unbelievably Amazingly Spectacular
Ever since I saw the trailers and sneaks peek of the movie, I kept getting more and more excited, realizing that Far From Home was going to be even better than Homecoming and I Was Right. Far From Home was so AMAZING. There was so much more action, humour, heart and romance compared to Homecoming. I loved every minute watching the movie and I love Tom Holland as Peter Parker. He is by far the best actor to portray the character and he is even better than ever. I just love him SO MUCH. Everything about the movie was incredible, all the references and flashbacks to several previous Marvel films and the special effects were incredible.
However, one of the main primary reasons why I LOVE the movie is the romance between Peter and MJ. I was never a fan of the romance between Liz and Peter in Homecoming since I never really felt any chemistry between them and there was not enough development or screentime for their relationship whereas it's completely different with Peter and MJ. I can really feel the chemistry and love between them which only grows stronger as the film progressed which clearly proves that Peter's feelings for MJ are a whole lot more stronger and serious than any feelings he ever had for Liz. Plus, I really enjoyed the love triangle between Peter, MJ and Brad as watching Peter fight for the girl he loves is what makes the romance even greater.
I also loved the scenes between Peter and Happy. They are so close and it was so heartwarming to see them comfort one another since they are still grieving the loss of Tony. It was touching. The topic of Tony's passing and his successor is one of the main highlights of the movie. It shows how Peter is struggling, how he still hasn't gotten over the loss of his beloved mentor who was like a father to him and his fears that he will never live up to the legacy Tony left behind. It's wonderful to see how Peter and Happy are there for each other and one of the best moments is the look of pride and happiness in Happy's eyes when he watches Peter working on his new suit, truly reminding him of Tony. Not to mention, the romance between Happy and May was a nice touch and so HILARIOUS, Especially the Confession.
In the end, I'm thrilled as Far From Home was everything I wanted and more. I can't wait to see the next Spider-Man film and I hope there are a whole lot more movies to come in the future. I'm looking forward to seeing what the next chapter will be for Peter since he will have his hands full no doubt following the shocking events from the ending credits. Overall, Spider-Man: Far From Home clearly surpasses Spider-Man: Homecoming. It was truly, Amazing, Spectacular, Stupendous and above all officially one of my Top Favourite Movies EVER.
Love, Take Two (2019)
Love, Take Two was kinda... Disappointing
Personally, I thought it could have been better. This was a good film and it was interesting to watch, but I felt it was lacking in a few areas. It wasn't always romantic and personally I couldn't really feel the chemistry at times with Lily and Scott. It seems the film was really building a strong romance about reminding Lily and Scott of how much they miss and how in love they were, but I felt they didn't really delve deep enough into their past. Plus there were some characters I wish we could have seen more of such as Lily's old professor and Scott's best man who is also a therapist. I especially felt they should have gotten more screentime, helping Scott and Lily respectively with their problems with Lily's writers block and Scott's relationship issues and re-emerging feelings for Lily. I also felt there should have been more drama between Lily and Scott's fiancée, but again it was lacking. Plus I felt we didn't get to see enough of the production of the reality TV show as well as the other engaged couples and as for the ending I thought it was uninteresting and kinda predictable.
Overall, personally I felt the movie was okay. It was really great at the start, but it started to lack in some areas towards the ending and honestly I don't know if I'll watch it again.
Bottled with Love (2019)
Bottled with Love was AMAZING.
When I first heard about this movie I was unsure about it and put off watching it for some time, but now I consider it to be one of my FAVOURITE Hallmark movies. The growing relationship between Abbey and Nick was so much fun to watch and it was so delightful watching their different interactions from their time at work together to their time talking to each other online. I really enjoyed Andrew Walker as he is one of my FAVOURITE Hallmark actors and he always brings charm, fun and romance to the screen and I instantly fell for his character, Nick Everson. I swear it's so easy to fall in love with him. I loved the character, Abbey Lawrence and I felt I could really relate myself to her since I also have trouble expressing myself like she does sometimes. I really sympathise with her. I'm glad as the film progressed she really started to come out of her shell and showed off her more fun-loving and caring side since she has had such difficulty about truly opening herself up to others.
After watching this film, I'm not surprised that it has become such a huge success since I did hear from critics that it's an instant hit and it has become one of the best Hallmark movies of the year. It's truly a romantic film with a lot of sweet, fun and ADORABLE moments and the ending is truly one of the most Romantic Moments EVER. Bottled with Love is truly an inspiring film about not being afraid to put yourself out there to find love and be open to all the possibilities the world has to offer.
Overall, this was truly an amazingly romantic and inspiring film and I look forward to watching it again and again in the future.
Aladdin (2019) was... Okay?
When the live-action remake of Aladdin was announced I couldn't have been more happy as Aladdin has always been my Number One favourite Disney film ever since I was a little girl. I was very excited and couldn't wait to see it. However, after finally watching it I can honestly say that the original animated film will Always and Forever Will Be My FAVOURITE. The remake didn't really meet any of my expectations. I thought the special efforts were good, but in some cases I thought they were trying too hard. The songs were great especially, A Friend Like Me and Jasmine's solo, Speechless. Although A Whole New World was good I still prefer the original animated version. I certainly noticed a lot of differences with the characters such as Aladdin being slightly more cocky and a little too over-confident at times, specifically the scene where he breaks his promise to Genie. Jasmine was different as well such as her goals. While some of parts of her original animated counterpart remained, she was really, really different compared to the original such as her goal where she wanted to become the new ruler of Agrabah and actually didn't mind getting married and was less hostile. In regards to Will Smith as Genie I think that Robin Williams would have been proud. Plus I am happy that Genie got a romance with the new character, Dahila who played Jasmine's handmaiden. I really enjoyed their romance.
However, I still wish they would have remained more in touch with the original storyline and not change too much of it. Although change can be good at times, others not so much and it was perfectly proven in this remake as I wasn't happy on all the changes they made from the original classic. Plus, one of the Worst and Most Awkward scenes EVER was the introduction where Aladdin as Prince Ali introduced himself to the royal family. It was awful and one of the most embarrassing things I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. Just so much JAM. SERIOUSLY WHY. The romance between Aladdin and Jasmine was good and I have to admit I kinda liked the beginning, but I still wish they could have kept more of the storyline from the original animated version.
Overall, the remake of Aladdin was okay. Part of me liked it and disliked it all at the same time. In the end, the original animated classic will Always and Forever Be My Favourite, but the remake... Not So Much. :/
BEST WEDDING EVER
This wedding was so worth the wait. After so many years of waiting the day had finally arrived for Kensi Blye and Marty Deeks to finally become husband and wife and everything about this episode was amazing from start to finish. It was funny, action packed, emotional and above all it was absolutely amazing and beautiful. This episode was so funny to watch as Deeks was nervous throughout the entire episode from pre wedding jitters to the arrival of Anatoli Kirkin and his appearence made the episode all the more hilarious.
There are so many amazing things about this episode, but one of the best was the reveal about what was in the mysterious Box Kensi gave to Deeks so many years ago way back in season 4. The Box was revealed to have contained the wedding ring of Kensi's deceased father, Donald Blye along with a letter Kensi wrote to Deeks, expressing her love for him and revealing that she always knew they were meant to be and that this day would come. It was truly one of the most emotional and beautiful moments throughout the episode. However, the surprises and happiness didn't stop there. One of the Biggest surprises was the long awaited return of everyone's favourite Operations Manager, Hetty Lange and I gotta say... It's About Time.
As for the action, there was plenty to go around as almost everyone on the team got to do some fighting and it was just great, especially Kensi fighting the bad guys in her wedding dress. The other great moments presented in this episode was the introduction of Kensi's friends and Callen and Sam reassuring Deeks. However, my favourite moment of all was the moment we have all been waiting for when Kensi and Deeks finally became husband and wife and it was absolutely beautiful.
Overall, This Is One of the Best Densi Episodes Ever and It's an Episode I Will Forever Hood Dear and Close to My Heart!!!
Enchanted Christmas (2017)
Loved Carlos and Alexa
I really enjoyed watching this romantic Christmas film, especially because because of Carlos and Alexa PenaVega. It was great watching a married couple working together in this film and I loved their characters Ricardo and Laura. It was so romantic watching the two characters fall back in love, although it's pretty obvious that despite their past the spark between them never went out. Laura was still very much hurt by what happened between them in the past, but it was lovely as how she managed to open her heart again as the film progress and she fell in love with both Ricardo and dancing all over again. I will though, I was expecting something when it came to the dancing between Ricardo and Laura. There was plenty of dancing, no doubt, but I felt it was lacking something, mainly for the big finale between Laura and Ricardo.
Overall though, I still found this to be a great Christmas romance film and I loved watching Carlos and Alexa PenaVega together and I hoped to see more films of the couple together again in the future.
A Midnight Kiss (2018)
I LOVE THIS MOVIE. IT IS NOW ONE OF MY FAVOURITES
OMG I cannot express how much I LOVE THIS MOVIE. This has to be one of the best Hallmark Christmas films I've ever seen. Carlos PenaVega is an amazing actor and I love his character, David Campos in this film. Watching the chemistry between David and Mia is soo sweet. They are meant for each other and it's cute how they try to hide their feelings. I love how David is helping Mia to realize her dream and gives her the courage to do what she really wants to do in life. Plus Mia is a great character as she is so hardworking as we all as loving and caring towards her family. Overall, this is one of the best Hallmark films that truly combines family and romance.
Love in Design (2018)
Love In Design is a Great Film
I always love any Hallmark film starring Danica McKeller and she has done it again with another fantastic film. It's such a creative film as I'm also a fan of design shows and it's a great way to combine two of my favourite things: movies and designs shows. Plus I found it to be so fun and interesting to watch the chemistry between Hannah and Jeff unfold as the film progresses. Overall, yet another great film where opposites do attract and people always find their way to each other.
Summer Love (2016)
Nice summer film
I really enjoyed this film as it was a nice feel good summer film and I like Maya's character, but I feel really bad for her since she has a lot of drama going in her life throughout the film. She feels out of place with all the younger people at her internship, she quickly becomes the involved in a love triangle with both the CFO and the CEO, causing all the other interns to become jealous of her. Maya is such a nice and sweet character and she doesn't deserve to be treated badly as all she wants is to gets through the internship without trouble. I thought a lot of the characters were unfairly rude to her, but at least she has the support of her best friend, her daughter and her true love interest. I'm just glad she managed to prove herself to everyone in the end.
Crazy Rich Asians (2018)
I Loved Everything About This Film. The characters, the locations, the clothes, the plot just absolutely everything about this film was AMAZING. I love Rachel's character and I love how she and Nick are so in love. Rachel faced difficulty, but with help from her collage best friend and some members of the family, she really proved herself to them in the end. Speaking of the ending, It Was So Romantic and the song really fit perfectly in that one special romantic moment between Rachel and Nick. Plus I loved the characters as they were all so colourful, unquie and different, but I also enjoyed the subplot focusing on Nick's cousin, Astrid. She is one of the few rare members of the family who is truly kind and caring towards Rachel, making her one of the sweetest characters, plus I loved how she stood up for herself against her cowardly husband.
Overall, This is A Truly Fantastic Film and I could watch again and again without Ever getting bored.
Young Justice: Depths (2012)
One of the Most Emotional Episodes
This episode was hard to watch as there were some scenes that truly broke my heart. While the main focus was on Artemis and her return to the Team, the most emotional moment for me was the scene between Miss Martian and Superboy. As a huge fan and supporter of their relationship it was just heartbreaking to learn when the reason behind their break up was revealed. However, what was even more difficult was watching the two still devastated and hurt by their break up and the fact they are still clearly in love with each other. The moment between them on the Bio-Ship ship really makes me tear up, but I know in time, they will get back together again as it's obvious that they just can't live with each other. They just don't know it yet.
Young Justice: Terrors (2011)
SuperMartian Together At Last
This is my top number one favourite episode since this is the very episode where Miss Martian and Superboy finally become a couple. Throughout the first half of the season we watched as the two fell in love with each other, but this was a truly amazing episode that really focused on their love. This episode mainly focused on Superboy coming to terms with his feelings for Miss Martian, realizing how much he really loves her after almost losing her. The great lengths he went to reunite with her was so Romanric. When he was finally reunited with her at first it was heartbreaking as he thought he really lost her until she freed herself which lead to them sharing their first kiss, a very Passionate kiss and one of my favourite as well.
Miss Martian and Superboy FOREVER!!!
Young Justice: Bereft (2011)
One of My Favourite Episodes
This is one of my personal favourite episodes of the entire series of Young Justice and not just the first season. The main reason I love this episode is because of the romantic relationships, mainly between Miss Martian and Superboy although I do enjoy seeing the more nicer interactions between Kid Flash and Artemis. Watching the Team lose their memories and getting to know everyone again was fun to watch, especially for Kid Flash and Artemis since they got off to a very bad start, but with this new and improved meeting it helped to make them realize there is obviously something more between them. However, the true main focus of the episode was the growing romantic relationship between Miss Martian and Superboy. This episode helped to establish a truly strong bond between these characters while at the same time made their feelings for each other grow so much stronger in the process. I LOVE watching these two fall in love as Miss Martian and Superboy are my favourite couple of the series and this episode is one of the best that really focuses on their romantic relationship.
One of the Best Premieres Ever
I can't express how much I LOVE this premiere. It was so amazing seriously just everything about this episode was fantastic, the songs, the storyline and all the new characters introduced as well. However, what I loved most about this episode was the strong focus on Rapunzel and Eugene's relationship. They don't have a lot of episodes that focus on them as a couple and this is only one of the very few episodes that really focus on their love and relationship. I can't get over how this premiere really focused on these two as they are one of my top favourite Disney couples.
Plus it was great how we got to see more of a glimpse into Eugene's past by finally meeting the Baron and his daughter, Stalyan who also happens to be Eugene's ex-FIANCÉE. Watching this episode play out with Stalyan trying to force Eugene to marry her and make him question his relationship with Rapunzel was great. I can tell she is going to make quite the love rival for Rapunzel when she makes her future episodes on the show. Thankfully, Rapunzel and Eugene's love prevailed.
Overall, This is One of My Top Favourite Episodes of the Entire Series.
One Winter Proposal (2019)
Another Winter Classic
This was a lovely sequel to the first film and although the first film is still my favourite I just absolutely fell in love with a certain scene that everyone is waiting to see throughout the film. Cara and Ben have been going strong for a year to the point where he is ready to pop the question. Megan's career has taken off to the point where she and Sean have drifted apart and she has kinda transformed into a workaholic, but soon they reconnect and reignite their spark. I think this film did a better job of balancing out the couples screen time compared to the first film as much of the first focused on Cara and Ben and not much on Megan and Sean, but this was much better with both couples getting an equal amount of screen time together and focus on their love stories. It impresses me on how much some of the characters have really changed over the last year, showing a LOT of character development and continue to grow throughout the film. Plus one of my favourite moments is when one of my favourite songs, A Thousand Years is played during a significant moment that will make your hearts melt.
Overall, I think Hallmark has done it again and created another classic Christmas romantic comedy film.
Reign of the Supermen (2019)
Strong focus on Lois Lane
The sequel to the Death of Superman was amazing in fact when I get the sequel on DVD I am going's to watch these two films in a row. It was amazing to watch everything go down with all different Supermen such as Steel, Superboy etc. However, what I loved most about the film was the strong focus on Lois Lane. The previous film focused on her relationship with Superman and learning is idenitiy while this film focuses on her grief over his death while trying to learn the truth about these new Supermen. It was great how much she appeared throughout the film and I was happy to watch her building a bond with Superboy. Lois Lane really showed off her reporter skills in this film as she managed to learn Steel's true identity and was determined to get to the bottom of the new Supermen appearances while hoping to learn more about her beloved. Lois Lane really showed she is such a strong, determined and loving person in the film and I'm happy that in the end she was truly reunited with her loss love and the passionate kiss they shared was beautiful.
Overall, I Love This Sequel and I continue to LOVE Lois Lane.
The Death of Superman (2018)
Best Superman/Lois Lane Love Story
I just absolutely love DC Animated Universe films and this was one of the greatest films I've ever seen, especially because of the strong focus on the romantic relationship between Superman and Lois Lane. The love story between these two characters has always been one of the main highlights of the Superman series and this movie did a great job highlighting and focusing their relationship. However, I do wish we could've learned the reason on why Superman and Wonder Woman broke up as they never really revealed why they ended their relationship in the first place. Plus I think she still held some feelings for Kal-El when he talked about revealing his identity to Lois.
Speaking of which it was great to actually see Lois Lane finally learning the truth about Clark Kent and Superman being the same person. The love they have for each other was is so beautiful and it was touching how Clark confessed his love for Lois threw a napkin, but it was so sad how he died in her arms. I've seen a lot of Superman films that focus on his relationship with Lois Lane, but out of all the previous DC movies I've seen this is one of my favourites. This was truly one of the best and most romantic Superman films I've Ever Seen.
One Winter Weekend (2018)
A Real Winter Love Story
I thought this was a wonderful winter love story watching Cara and Ben fall for each other while in a cozy winter restort together. While they may have gotten to a rocky start and while a few misunderstandings along the way, they managed to find their way to each other. Plus I'm happy how they both managed to find the courage for their respective careers and lives. It's never easy, but they did what was right for them. The chemistry between them felt so real, especially their moment in the cabin together. It's really good film to watch over the winter. However, I wish there was more focus between Megan and Sean as well since they are the secondary main romantic love story of the film, but there wasn't much focus or development for their love story although we did get a few good scenes between them.
Pumpkin Pie Wars (2016)
Great Autumn Film
This was a great autumn feel good film as everything about the film was amazing, especially the main characters, Casey and Sam. I loved everything about this film, the characters were funny, sweet, cute and dare I say adorable to watch. However, the true highlight of the entire film was the love story between Casey and Sam, watching them competing, working together, helping each other and along the way fell in love, became a couple, all while trying to keep it a secret from their mothers. Plus I though the ending was one of the sweetest and most happiest endings EVER. This was definitely one of the most entertaining and sweetest Hallmark Autumn films and one of my personal favourites.
Christmas Wedding Planner (2017)
Not a Good Film
When I first learned about this film I thought it would be another classic romantic Christmas film, but it's nothing like I imagined and the outcome was really disappointing. There was ZERO chemistry between the main characters. I couldn't sense any romance for the characters and although the mystery storyline was sort of interesting with a surprise outcome I still wasn't happy. Plus when i saw the ending, normally that kind of stuff would make my heart swoon, but even I have to admit I was really put off.
Overall, this was a really bad and disappointing film.
Marrying Mr. Darcy (2018)
Sequel is Better
When I saw the first film I thought it was decent and good, but after watching the sequel I can honestly say I much prefer this film compared to the first film. Elizabeth and Donovan have a much better relationship and although there were still a few bumps, their love and relationship grew more stronger because of it. Aunt Violet is back and it was so annoying and wrong of her to take complete control over the wedding. In the end though, Elizabeth and Donovan got married in exactly the kind of wedding Elizabeth first imagined and in the end they finally get their long awaited happily ever after.
One of My Favourite Movies Ever
This was one of the most entertaining films I've ever seen. It's one of the most unquie and different wedding movies I've ever seen. I loved watching the strong bond and friendship between Erin, Casey and Stella. They are all great girls and I loved watching their strong friendship throughout the entire film as the girls were all there for each other, especially since they found out they all weren't legally married. The husbands in the other hand were such jerks to their wives. They are lucky the girls decided to give their husbands a second chance... well most of them anyway.
Overall... I LOVE THIS FILM SO MUCH. IT'S TRULY A FANTASTIC FILM ANYONE WILL LOVE.
