For a very long time this show has been dragging its feet, focusing more on the utterly preposterous love affair between Eric and Nell, or in a completely different way, Kensi and Deeks. There has been a modest amount of action here and there, and very little to dissuade one from fast-forwarding though one awkward scene after the next. Until this one. The team is back as agents, doing what NCIS agents are supposed to do from a viewers perspective. The pacing was excellent, the plot interesting, even engaging, and the light-hearted moments were used sparingly, mostly focused on Arcady. An episode like this one requires a lot more work; more locations, stunts, planes, car chases and planning to pull it all together. But it was a success and I am very happy to say I look forward to the second half of this two part series. Bravo, guys.
