I've been a Kelly Clarkson fan since her first audition on American Idol and I've seen her live on tour at least 20 times since. After traveling to New York to see her perform on The Today Show's Summer Concert Series and sitting so close I could intricately describe the sparkle of her nail polish, what more could I dream? Well, then she announced her talk show. Naturally, I put my name in the hat for the free tickets. I didn't think I would actually get them, but about a week later, I received an email asking me to confirm! I hopped on a red-eye flight and spent less than 12 hours in La before flying back to the East Coast on another red-eye. It may have been a quick trip, but seeing The Kelly Clarkson Show live was a dream come true. Here's what happened.

Why Nick Jonas Is Against A Jonas Brothers Reality Show

Why Nick Jonas Is Against A Jonas Brothers Reality Show
Reality TV is not Nick Jonas' cup of tea. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show airing Thursday, the singer told host Kelly Clarkson that, despite the staggering number of celebrities in their family, a reality show is not on their bucket list. "I will say, you have, like, the most famous family ever," Kelly accurately pointed out. Fans of the Jo Bros, of course, know this to be true, given Nick's opulent 2018 wedding with Priyanka Chopra and Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner's equally high-profile 2019 nuptials. Given the star quality of their family, Kelly suggested they add another money-making endeavor to their repertoire. "Y'all should...

Why Eva Mendes Is Cracking Open a Window Into Her Private World With Ryan Gosling

Why Eva Mendes Is Cracking Open a Window Into Her Private World With Ryan Gosling
Hold the phone. Eva Mendes just gushed over Ryan Gosling. In public! Not that it's news that she's sprung on him—they've been partners for almost a decade and have two daughters together, after all—but the first rule of their relationship for years was that they didn't talk about their relationship. "That's literally me going, like, 'I'm not in love with him! I'm not in love with him! What? I'm not in love,'" Mendes amusingly recalled on The Kelly Clarkson Show last month as a photo was shown of her and Gosling together at the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival, where they had a movie to promote and a secret to...

Um, John Cena's WWE Pre-Show Ritual Includes Eating 10,000 Calories In Tic Tacs

Um, John Cena's WWE Pre-Show Ritual Includes Eating 10,000 Calories In Tic Tacs
John Cena credits his 16 WWE championship wins to… Tic Tacs? On Friday's episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, the pro wrestler looked back on his early WWE days and recalled a bizarre pre-fight ritual he lived by. "My thing was always Tic Tacs," he told host Kelly Clarkson. "It's a nervous superstition that I always have before we go on a broadcast." Seems innocent, right? Well, John said it got to the point where he was overdoing it. "I've had to wean myself off of them," he admitted. "I would up to like three boxes a day and it's right in the 20 minutes before broadcast." Shocked, Kelly shouted, "That's like a child!" And he...

Halloween Costumes on TV: Ellen Is a Hustler, Marvel-ous Housewife, Conners See Double, Gma's Bee Gees and More

Halloween Costumes on TV: Ellen Is a Hustler, Marvel-ous Housewife, Conners See Double, Gma's Bee Gees and More
This year’s crop of Halloween costumes featured on TV aren’t exactly spooky, but they are rather nostalgic.

Take, for instance, The Conners‘ Mark, who is dressed as David Bowie’s alter ego Ziggy Stardust, or Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts, who is costumed as disco-era diva Donna Summer. Then there are nods to beloved TV shows from the past, with the Johnson family on mixed-ish representing characters from The Facts of Life, Laverne & Shirley and Miami Vice, and Al Roker taking a not-so-“Unusual” approach with his ode to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Kelly Clarkson Would Love For You to Continue Confusing Her With Carrie Underwood
Maybe next time they'll think before they mistake Kelly Clarkson for Carrie Underwood. During an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Clarkson revealed that people mistake her for the fellow American Idol winner pretty frequently. "That happens to me all the time!" the superstar told her guests Gabriel Iglesias and D'Arcy Carden. "Seriously, I have been asked all the time or they'll be like, 'Oh my gosh, I love your song 'So Small.' And I'm like, 'I don't even know what that is.' And then, I'll find out it's Carrie Underwood!" But Clarkson, being the ray of sunshine she is, takes the...

It's Official: Kelly Clarkson Was Born to Cover Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time"

  • Popsugar
Are you ready for yet another glorious musical cover from Kelly Clarkson? Hopefully you're sitting down, because her take on "If I Could Turn Back Time" is nothing short of electric.

Ever since The Kelly Clarkson Show premiered in early September, the host has wowed her audience with performances of major pop hits, acoustic duets, and even a rap or two during her daily "Kellyoke" segment, but her rendition of Cher's 1989 anthem just might take the cake as our favorite cover yet. (Those vocals!) Truthfully the only way her performance could've been more perfect is if everyone in the audience was dressed up as sailors.

Watch Clarkson's take on the Cher classic above, and then be sure to listen to her interpretation of Heart's "Alone" from earlier this week!

This time around, the talk show host partnered with guests Blake Shelton and Eva Mendes to introduce country singer Craig Morgan, who stopped by to perform a moving rendition of his song "The Father, My Son, and the Holy Ghost." Eva Mendes' Halloween Struggle Is Such a Relatable Mom Moment
Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling's daughters are big Judy Garland fans. During an appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show on Thursday, Mendes revealed that her kids, Esmerelda, 5, and Amada, 3, have a go-to Halloween costume. Much to her dismay. "They're constantly dressing up," she said. "And our kids are obsessed with Wizard of Oz and Dorothy, so they've been Dorothy every year." While, as host Kelly Clarkson noted, that must be easy on the wallet, Mendes is hoping that one day they'll want to sport a spookier look for October 31. "Financially great," the 45-year-old admitted. "We're like, 'Let's, you know, maybe we...
