Trivia

Lady Astor briefly refers to her earlier career "on the catwalk". The real Lady Astor, as Bronwen Pugh, was a supermodel of the 1950s, one of the most elegant and beautiful women in Europe; her marriage to Lord Astor, who was 23 years her senior, led immediately to her retirement from modeling.
