The discussion at 15 minutes into the show regarding turning a mono turntable into a stereo turntable is totally inaccurate. The record played would be mono or stereo. The needle and cartridge used to play back the music would also be mono or stereo. You could not take one and automatically turn it into the other. Also, the comment about preferring mono because the decibel level can be higher without affecting the quality of the music seems to have no technical reason to support it. See more
At approx 00:18:48 in this episode the mugs used for coffee with Olivia and Iris, were not released by Corningware until 1972. Second release was in 1979. Certainly not in the 1950's as this show is supposed to be set in. See more
