Trivia

When Selena and the others arrive on Earth, it is similar to the scene in Superman II (1980) featuring General Zod, Ursa and Non's arrival on Earth. See more »

Goofs

It is illogical to speak of "terraforming the Earth." "Terraforming" means to change a planet's biosphere to match that of Earth. Selena should have used the term "kryptoforming." See more »

Quotes

Selena: Something's wrong. She is unformed.
Dark Kryptonian: She only has one bloodline, Reign's. There should be three. She needs to embody the Trinity.
Selena: Purity and Pestilence may be dead, but their blood still exists. I can sense it. We need to find the blood of Reign's sisters to make her whole.
Thomas Coville: I know where you can find it.

Plot lines are getting lazier
12 June 2018 | by jp7570See all my reviews

This episode makes reference to terraforming as the "Genesis effect" - something with can wipe out all life on a planet in favor of creating a new Krypton. If that sounds familiar, it is basically the plot from "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" (minus the references to Krypton, of course). The writers didn't even try to change the name - Genesis.

If the story lines are going to lift directly from other movies, maybe they cold at least try to be a little more creative and come up with a new name! Oh, and every summary seems to want to call the villain "Serena", when in fact her name is "Selena". What a shame the efforts on this series have continued to slide.
