BBC Media Editor Amol Rajan hosts this week's edition of the show. The former editor of The Independent is joined in the studio by broadcaster and journalist Bidisha, historian Kate Williams and associate editor of The Stage Mark Shenton. First, Amol travels to Chicester to talk to Sir Ian McKellen about his title role in Jonathan Munby's striking adaptation of King Lear, his career and future plans. John Wilson interviews Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling about the eagerly-anticipated Blade Runner 2049 - the long-awaited follow-up to Ridley Scott's seminal Science Fiction thriller. Australian musician and comedian Tim Minchin is the final guest and Amol talks to him about his new-found role as an author of children's books before Tim performs his song "When I Grow Up", taken from the stage-play version of Roald Dahl's "Matilda".
