Truly beautiful
16 April 2019 | by egillsmarihlynssonSee all my reviews

There is no doubt that this is the greatest Icelandic film in films history. The film portrayes today's youth perfectly, there is nothing cringe worthy of trying to relate to the youth of today, just pure feelings towards the strange social life of today. For I am a teen in Iceland, I think that every adolescent can relate to this picture regardless of where you live. Both of the actresses give a truly amazing performance, and actually react normally to these brutal situations narcotics can lead to. And finally the director, Baldvin shows us again his iconic vision of Icelandic culture which all of us can relate to.
