This series follows the people who fight California wildfires, the danger, the cost, and the personal loss it causes. The camera work is great. The shots he gets are fantastic. If you have seen lots of western US wildfires (I have) you probably have will find this very interesting. If you haven't then you will probably like it even more.
They also follow a woman named Cody who is a fire fighter from the California corrections system. Her story is compelling and emotional and it ends with her release to her family and the positive changes in her life.
The pace of the episodes is slower than most shows today. Lots of editors might have cut it down to 3 episodes but after I got used to the pace I was satisfied with it being 4 episodes.
