Tess: I just can't picture somewhere so... open. How did you make so much air?
Phil Coulson: We didn't *make* it. It was just there. You've never been in a place without four walls, have you?
Tess: Does spacewalks count?
Phil Coulson: Definitely.
Tess: What about all the dangers - earthquakes, floods, sharknados? Feels safer inside, no?
Phil Coulson: Okay, hold up. The whole sharknado thing... that's just entertainment.
Tess: Who would put a shark in a tornado?
Phil Coulson: They wouldn't. It's fiction. A movie.

Re-watch thoughts

This episode gets dark! probably the darkest the show has ever been, I think they portrayed the apocalypse in a raw, meaningful and interesting way, it's a bit cliche, but the idea that humans would turn cruel at the end of the world is too realistic to ignore! I like the new characters introduced, the villains may not be the best in the show's history ( the competition is tough in that field) but they instantly stand out for their design and being aliens kinda sets you apart, Sinara has her own theme music! she looks so cool! overall, this episode lives and dies by the dark grim tone it adapts, it hit me personally hard because I like such stories, but it may not work for everyone. Oh and there is a very subtle visual cue involving clouds that is one of my favorite things ever, because it is so subtle but shows attention to details!
