Following a violent explosion involving two boats in the south of France, a mother attempts to figure out what happened to her son and how the body of her long estranged sister ended up on the beach.
The bay of Sète. A violent explosion. Among the chaos, a mother looks for her son. Was he aboard one of the boats that crashed into each other? Was he involved in what very quickly appears to be a murder? Determined to protect her child, her life is completely turned around when the body of a woman is discovered on the beach, that of her own sister, whom she hasn't seen in over fifteen years.
The life of several families and inhabitants of the town of Sète, on the Mediterranean coast of France. Their lives are paced by plots involving police investigations, family lies and secrets, rivalries, betrayals, but aslo scenes of everyday life, relationships, social issues.
