Trivia

Iceland has a much more generous climate than depicted in this series. Vikings named it Iceland to discourage any other raids to it, and Greenland, which has a much harsher climate, to make any raids there instead. See more »

Surprising Conclusion
17 January 2019 | by claudio_carvalhoSee all my reviews

In Kattegat, Ivar learns that Harald was defeated in Wessex and plots to navigate with his army to loot the Saxons. Harald arrives at York, introduces Magnus and fight a group of rebels. Hvitserk learns Buddha´s teachings from an Asian slave. Lagherta is missing and King Alfred keeps his word giving lands to Ubbe and Torvi; however, Bjorn decides to leave Wessex with Gunnhild to team up Harald to overthrow Ivar from Kattegat. In Iceland, Floki receives the starving Helgi that tells that his family is dying. In Wessex, Judith plots a scheme and poisons a conspirator.

"The Buddha" presents the sequel after the Battle of Wessex showing the fate of each character. The weakest segment is Floki and his settlers. The greatest surprise is the last scene that was absolutely unexpected. My vote is seven.

Title (Brazil): "The Buddha"
