Initial credits have the cast performing a dance to snippet of "Friend like Me." This is also a callback to the Broadway/live action performance of Aladdin. In which, at the end of the show, the cast come out and then perform an encore of "Friend like Me." Shortly after Robin Williams passed away, the current cast dedicated the encore to Williams/asked the audience to participate. See more »
Although this remake might seem less accomplished than the eponymous cartoon Aladdin (1992), the film is objectively well done. The actors, the songs, the sets, the costumes, the Computer-Generated Imagery (tiger, monkey, flying carpet, genie), ... everything is excellent!
