Pop Culture Thoughts
1 December 2018 | by popculturethoughtsSee all my reviews

It's embarrassing to admit, but the movie covered by the gang in this episode (1966's "The Christmas That Almost Wasn't") is the kind of movie I would have loved as a child. Growing up bilingual in the late 1980s near a mom-and-pop video store, I'm used to binging on dubbed children's movies, like 1970's "Peau d'Ane" and 1984's "J'ai Rencontré le Père Noël" among others, so I tremendously enjoyed this Italian oddity. Mind you, it's a terrible movie, but it's an enjoyable one, and the gang clearly has a good time ripping into it.
