Pop Culture Thoughts
1 December 2018 | by popculturethoughtsSee all my reviews

My favorite of the new MST3K episodes so far, this one skewers the ludicrous, misguided 1978 turkey "Avalanche," a strange, cheap rip-off of every other 1970s disaster flick co-starring Mia Farrow and Rock Hudson. The movie itself is fascinating to watch, not in the least for the lack of chemistry between its leads and the rampant, casual sexism peppered throughout, and the MST3K crew's jokes at the movie's expense are consistently strong and laugh-out-loud funny.
