Trying to profile Jack Ryan's personality, Cathy Mueller isn't sure if he's a Type B or Type C. "Type A," is a term used to describe a highly motivated and potentially stress-prone personality type. The term was coined in the 1950's by cardiologist Meyer Friedman and his collaborator R.H. Rosenman. A French law enforcement officer would ask for 'papiers du véhicule' or for 'Carte Grise'. This word use would be a 'Canadian-ism'...The Gendarme speaks in '10-codes' on the radio.
