Matt and Kate buy an isolated house. While moving, they discover a strange room that grants them an unlimited number of material wishes. But, since Kate has had two miscarriages, what they miss the most is a child.
Not too sure why this movie ever got made with a cast that consisted of Gary Oldman. Maybe I give too much credit to Oldman but I do believe he is a fantastic grade A actor that usually goes for productions that are higher calibre. This movie, did not do him justice. Production was fine. There are no scary moments but relied on cheap jump scares which really did not do much to add to storyline. Did they run out of budget, having to rely on jump scares? Did they spend the core budget on hiring a great cast? It seems so. I would recommend passing on this movie; it was just so pedestrian to even be considered a horror...just hanging borderline thriller.
