When Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) is walking in the mall, just before he sees the senior ladies, he passes the store Crazy 8. Krazy 8 is the name of one of Hector Salamanca (Mark Margolis)'s drug dealers (played by Max Arciniega) in Better Call Saul (2015), and also appears on the first season of Breaking Bad (2008).

Although Mrs. Irene Landy, the elderly woman Jimmy is conning to get the lawsuit money, has two cats named Oscar and Felix living with her in the small apartment (Jimmy brings her cookies that resemble her cats), the cats are never actually shown, and Jimmy visits her apartment several times in the last two episodes.

In an interview, Peter Gould explained that the writers hesitated not to show Kim (Rhea Seehorn) getting out of her car after the accident in this episode. The viewers should have waited until the next episode with anguish to know if Kim was alive. Out of respect for the audience, this idea was rejected.
