In the future....a small crime can easily escalate into atrocities!
26 January 2018 | by MartinHaferSee all my reviews

This episode, oddly, is set in Iceland and although I appreciate this change, it is odd as just about everyone has an Irish or British accent! I've been to Iceland and loved it...and cannot recall a single local who talked that way!

The show begins with a drunk driver accidentally running over a biker and killing him. Instead of doing the right thing, he convinces his female passenger to help him dispose of the body.

Years pass. The drunk driver has stopped drinking and is wracked with guilt over the other man's death. To try to make some amends, he wants to tell the man's wife that he is dead so she can go on with her life. He plans on sending an anonymous letter to the woman....but makes the mistake of letting his accomplice know his intentions. VERY bad things ensue...much worse than I could have anticipated. And, oddly, they get much worse due to the use of equipment that can record your thoughts and actions. How does this device and an insurance investigation lead to even more bloodshed? See the show.

Once again, "Black Mirror" looks at technology and tries to predict how it can run amok...and run it certainly does!! Overall, a very interesting episode which you should see IF you have a high threshold for violence. See the show...see what I mean.
