Patton Oswalt!
30 July 2016 | by ericstevensonSee all my reviews

I remember watching the clip of Patton Oswalt talking about the show and how for his daughter at least, it was becoming the new "Star Wars". I had no idea he'd ever actually be on the show itself. He's done so many voices it wasn't hard at all not to recognize him. From then on, I knew this episode would be a masterpiece. I guess I might not be able to understand some of the deeper meaning. Was it meant to be a metaphor for "Star Wars"? Was it meant to be a metaphor for faith? Either way, it was executed perfectly.

I just love the idea of a con appearing in the series as I have recently gone to a lot of those. It was also great to see a followup to a Daring Do adventure. Hey, they even got a different villain this time! It seems like the people are working harder to make the background ponies look more unique. I totally don't ship Quibble and Rainbow Dash... While Quibble can be annoying, he certainly redeemed itself in the end. I'm so glad they made something new with the Daring Do series and didn't just reprise the same stuff. This title is, I swear, one of the wittiest I have ever heard for an episode. Just by reading that, I KNEW it would be awesome. Don't miss this one! ****
