Trivia

Deadpool is back with his twin Desert Eagle Mark XIX pistols in .50 AE. We can tell these are the .50-caliber versions instead of the .44 Magnum Deagles because the heavy barrels aren't fluted, Deadpool carries his twin Desert Eagle XIX pistols in a double thigh holster rig. Each of those guns weighs over 4.5 pounds EMPTY, so that's one serious gunbelt. See more »

Deadpool: Fuck Wolverine. First he rides my coattails with the R-rating, and then, that hairy motherfucker ups the ante by dying. What a dick. Well, guess what, Wolvie? I'm dying in this one, too.

Alternate Versions

The 'Super Duper Cut' of the film that was released on home video extends the theatrical edition with 15 minutes of added scenes, and includes some alternative material. The main changes include:
  • Extended World Tour: additional shots of Deadpool killing gang members around the world, with the montage in the Japanese bathhouse restored to a single shot.
  • Additional suicide attempts, where Wade steps into a polar bear den inside a zoo, and then jumps from a building, both without success.
  • Additional scenes of Russell arriving at Essex House and being tortured (parts of these scenes appeared as flashbacks in the theatrical version).
  • Extended scenes at the X-Mansion where Wade introduces food labels for the refrigerator.
  • Russell and Juggernaut ruin a mall when they go shopping for matching outfits.
  • Extended scene of Deadpool trying to win back Colossus' sympathy.
  • Extended fight between Juggernaut, Cable and Domino.
  • Extended afterlife scene between Wade and Vanessa.
  • Extended mid-credits scenes with Deadpool and Peter, and with Wolverine
  • Post-credits scene where Deadpool travels back in time in an attempt to kill baby Hitler.
Some minor changes include alternative music in some scenes; many scenes have extended and/or alternate dialog; and certain jokes from the theatrical version have been changed (such as the Sharknado joke during the prison scene and the "Hi Wade!"/"Hi Yukio!" run-on gag throughout the theatrical release). Deadpool 2: Worthy sequel
22 August 2018 | by PlatypuschowSee all my reviews

I loved Deadpool (2016) I was blown away by it and Reynolds commitment to the character, it was fantastic.

I was however heartbroken when I saw the first trailer for this sequel, it looked pants. Not just pants, I mean granny pants. 15yr old, torn, badly stained (4 different shades) granny pants.

I've never been so happy about being wrong. Deadpool 2 delivers and is easily comparable in quality to the first movie and I sure as hell did not expect that.

With fantastic new additions, all the returning cast and excellent cameos this is the Deadpool sequel I desired but didn't expect (Or possibly deserve).

With it's brand of over the top violence, quick fire humour, endless pop culture references and Reynolds in the role he was born to play Deadpool 2 is a worthy sequel in a franchise that I don't ever want to end if it continues like this.

So damn funny, I can't wait to see what they do with the third movie. The concept however of bringing Deadpool into the existing Marvel Universe though fills me with dread. How could Deadpools brand of R rated goodness possibly fit into the Disney universe? Don't........do it!

The Good:

Cast are fantastic again

So damn funny

Action packed

Soundtrack as random as it may be

The incredible during credits scenes

The Bad:

That kid, he's just beyond annoying in everything he's in

Some questionable casting choices for the new characters

Things I Learnt From This Movie:

Everyday should be international womans day

Vinnie Jones is all grown up
