Indie Horror Distributor Terror Films Teams with BingeWave to Release Fifteen Titles Theatrically

Terror Films and BingeWave have teamed-up to release fifteen horror titles, theatrically. The initial slate of titles will include some of Terror Films' best know releases, including: Hell House LLC, The House on Pine Street, Savageland, Night of Something Strange and many others. This partnership will also include some of Terror Films' original productions, like: Trace (2015) and Patient Seven (2017). BingeWave often hosts their releases in New York City and the surrounding areas, with more cities set to show the films at a future date. A full list of films to show through BingeWave is hosted here. Terror Films' President Joe Dain talked about this partnership, recently. Dain said: "this is a fantastic opportunity for our filmmakers to not only have their films screened in a theatrical setting and tap into a new fan base." Terror Films and Screambox bring 30 Exciting Titles to this Horror Streaming Service

Terror Films is teaming up with horror subscription service Screambox. Together, they will bring dozens and dozens of horror titles to this platform. Screambox is a TV4 Entertainment company, which "promises to deliver the very best in fresh new horror to fans every week and on any device. The first slate of Terror Films' titles to reach the platform include: the found footage masterpiece Hell House LLC (2015), the horror anthology Patient Seven (2016), the indie thriller Dead Body (2016), the behind-the-scenes documentary Unearthed & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary (2017) and many others. Heretiks Promises Forgiveness But Delivers Terrible Sights in this First Trailer

Tagline: "Forgive Us Our Sins." The first trailer for Heretiks has debuted today. The clip shows a woman accused of witchcraft and sentenced to death. However, a reverend intervenes and gives her a second chance to conquer her demons. Heretiks was directed by Paul Hyett (Howl), from a script written by Gregory Blair (Deadly Revisions) and Conal Palmer (The Seasoning House). Heretiks also stars Michael Ironside (Patient Seven), Clare Higgins (Hellraiser) and Hannah Arterton. This title is expected to have its World Premiere at this year's Frightfest, in London. Fans with a strong stomach can find the eye-popping trailer below. The synopsis for Heretiks begins with Persephone's (Arterton) trial. She is rescued before deliberation by the Reverend Mother (Higgins). However, in an isolated Priory, the spirits of evil continue to pursue Persephone. What sins have drawn such demonic forces to her? The World Premiere, for Heretiks, is scheduled for August 25th.

A Spirit Haunts the Cradle in Horror Title Still/Born: United Kingdom Release Details

Tagline: "Fear the Unborn." Still/Born is a supernatural horror film. From first time director Brandon Christensen, this title has already released in the U.S., through Vertical Entertainment. Still/Born will show in the United Kingdom, this June. In the film, a young mother loses one of her children, a twin. Now, a supernatural entity is hounding her and her family. A native of Savannah, Georgia, William Mark McCullough has brought his brand of intense, violent and unpredictable characters to numerous films and TV shows. He had a supporting lead role opposite Nicolas Cage, John Cusack and Adrian Grenier in the crime thriller, Southern Fury and also appears in The Birth Of A Nation, which won top honors at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Mark has recurring roles in Underground on Wgn America and on the second season of PBS’s Mercy Street. In addition to acting, Mark is also a filmmaker. He has written, directed and produced several projects through his production company, Fort Argyle Films. We asked him about his roles in American Made and Logan Lucky.

Tell me about your audition for American Made.

I initially auditioned by tape for quite a few different characters in the film. I had callbacks for two characters.

Terror Films has teamed up with iflix. They will distribute several horror titles, worldwide. The Terror Films' slate, which includes: Antidote, Patient Seven, Hell House LLC, House of Purgatory, Unearthed and Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary and Inner Demon, will be available in several, new territories. From South East Asia to the Middle East, Terror Films will make their horror titles available through Video-on-demand. This is a long term partnership. And, more horror titles are expected to launch worldwide, from this production and distribution company. The full list of countries, in which these films will be distributed, is comprehensive. iflix will host the Terror Films' latest releases in: Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Myanmar, Brunei, Maldives, Egypt, Iraq, Sudan, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. With production starting yesterday in Vancouver, Canada, director Shane Black shared a photo featuring a partial look at his cast. That cast keeps growing and growing, with a report surfacing today that Game of Thrones star Alfie Allen has joined this ensemble. The actor is reportedly playing an ex-Marine who teams up with a "group of outsiders," including one played by Boyd Holbrook, to stop the deadly Predator. This latest report seems to be keeping a rumor alive that was debunked months ago.

Back in November, when Olivia Munn signed on, The Hollywood Reporter claimed that this story is set in the suburbs. Director Shane Black later claimed that the story is not set in the suburbs. Terror Films is letting the inmates out of the sanatorium! The horror anthology Patient Seven is set to see Redbox rental kiosks, this November 8th. And, the film hosts a lot of thrills and chills, in its two hour run time. Now, indie horror fans, in the United States, can rent a hardcopy of the film, across the country. The film's opening and closing segment "Patient Seven" is a good one. It introduces the protagonist and antagonist Dr. Marcus (Ironside). He is interviewing patients at a mental health hospital. But, his methods are questionable and sadistic. There is an interesting twist in this story, which will not be revealed here. However, some doctors are worse than their own patients. Patient Seven Digs You a Grave: A Film Review

Directors/writers: Danny Draven, Paul Davis, Ómar Örn Hauksson, Dean Hewison, Joel Morgan, Johannes Persson, Nicholas Peterson, Erlingur Thoroddsen, Rasmus Wassberg, Sam Dickson, Richard Falkner, Paul Fischer, Jacey Heldrich, Barry Jay, Brian McAuley, David Steenhoek, Aidee Walker. Patient Seven is a horror anthology, from at fifteen writers and directors. Short films, from around the world, make up this recent outing. Comprised of seven short films and one wraparound, there is a little something here for every horror fan. This film fan enjoyed Ómar Örn Hauksson's take on 28 Days Later (2002), with "Undying Love." These two films are very comparable in costume and shooting style. As well, "The Body," which practically begins the anthology, is especially well written, by Paul Fischer and Paul Davis. The comedic twist is a welcomed surprise.
