Angered by Ralph's attitude Johnny fires him and assumes the role of agent, though Annie is disturbed to see him apparently resuming his relationship with Isabella. Work on the viaduct involves underground tunnelling and, following an accident, Johnny and his friend Dagger are trapped by falling stones, as is Charles, when he goes in to help them. Despite Annie's mistrust of him Ralph saves them but Charles is seriously injured. As Davey prepares for his wedding to Alma he confronts Ralph with a revelation whilst Ralph also tells Epiphany that he is aware of her secret. Later that night a shot rings out and a man falls to the ground. Written by don @ minifie-1
