Did You Know?

The location where LeBlanc and Fiore are picked up is the same as where Walter White, in Breaking Bad S5E14, Ozymandias, is picked up so that he can disappear. After the vehicle pulls away in both shows, the same (or similar) dog crosses the road. Sam Caitlan, writer of this episode, also wrote for Breaking Bad. Michael Slovis, executive producer for Preacher, also worked on Breaking Bad. See more »

A revolver with a silencer attached to the barrel is fired several times in a scene. Almost all revolvers have a gap between the cylinder and barrel which allows gases and therefore noise out the side of the gun, rendering a suppressor useless. However the revolver used in this scene is a Nagant M1895 which is one of the very few revolvers that can use a suppressor due to it's unique ammunition and gas seal system. When the hammer is cocked the cylinder cams forward onto a lip protruding from the back of the barrel. Additionally the ammunition used by this revolver has the projectile seated completely withing the case so the lip of the case forms a seal against the back of the barrel. See more »

this episode is where the story comes to life
4 July 2016 | by toby-716-444683See all my reviews

After a a somewhat slow first few episodes, this is where it really comes to life. It is worth sitting patiently through the previous episodes to get here. The last 15 minutes of ep5 and the lead into ep6 is as if the shackles have been released. The pace picks up and the various story threads combine to explode the whole thing forward.

(Fans of the comics will have to suspend their plot expectations still though).

Tulip finally comes forward with some detail, the Angels are explained, Jesse proves useful once again, blood and gore abound.

In the end, the Preacher's new found confidence is rocked by a new understanding of the power he wields.
