Disappointing, but intriguing enough to continue watching
14 September 2016 | by jchano123See all my reviews

I was skeptical for this season since Hotel was a huge disappointment and as of now the worst season of TV I've seen. Not much actually happened this episode, which was also a big disappointment. It felt like a rehashing of Murder House, but with the fleshed out characters taken away. I get that it was supposed to be similar to those ghost-experience reenactment shows, which is why the acting wasn't as great as we've seen before, but that still bothers me. The cinematography was brilliant, as expected from Nelson Cragg, who also did People v. OJ. Nearly every shot looked like it could be framed. I'll keep watching if only for this reason, but I am also at least somewhat interested to see where the story goes.
