Interesting view into D&D and how it shapes lives
22 September 2016 | by eddiebeanleSee all my reviews

This is not the best documentary I've ever seen, but it's intriguing. The subject, Stefan, is clearly an artist and dreamer, not a businessman.

Through, what seems, sure will power he starts a company around his passion. After having run 2 successful Kickstarters we see him start a 3rd and watch as his dreams attempt to keep up with reality.

You get the feeling that his feet never quite touch the ground. He clearly feels he's doing the right thing by fulfilling the dreams of other gamers, like himself. That's his drive. His only drive. He doesn't seem to give a damn about the reality of the money, or even how hard he works his teams who do. He is the dreamer at the head of a semi-successful company and let's the hard work fall to his team.

I'm OK with that. Some of our greatest companies were built off of dreamers. Bring in the Harvard business guys to work the long hours to make it work. Without a dreamer's guidance, they tend to not have jobs. Sometimes that's how business works. Frustrating for some, but necessary as well.

Stefan is compelling in his complete and utter devotion to seeing his dreams come true. If you ever wanted to chase your own dreams than see how he does it and adjust accordingly.
