The incident occurred at Raf Brize Norton, Oxfordshire last week, after crew members left behind a van following days of filming, prompting 400 people to be evacuated from the base which was put on lockdown as bomb-sniffer dogs were brought in, reports thesun.co.uk.

Police cordoned off the large area after it emerged the van's security passes had lapsed, among speculation the vehicle was full of pyrotechnic explosives. However, that was later disproved.

"Everything was packed up on Friday but amazingly one of the vans was left behind outside the mess. I don't know if it was the film company or the hire company, but someone reported the van,

Did MoviePass Change Subscriber Passwords to Lock Out Paying Customers?

  • MovieWeb
MoviePass reportedly went and manually changed account passwords to keep subscribers locked out their accounts. A new investigation into the failing movie subscription service finds they allegedly did a lot more than that as they tried to keep their business afloat. MoviePass came into the public consciousness in 2017 when it offered a plan allowing subscribers to see unlimited movies for $9.99 a month. The plan seemed like it was way too good to be true, but within months, they had 3 million subscribers all trying to go see some cheap movies.

As it turns out, the MoviePass model was way too good to be true. Over the past year and a half, the company has seen many changes in relation to their plans, with subscribers getting pretty angry. While the subscription service had 3 million subscribers at one time, they now have less than 200,000. Users started reported outages and were not able to

"Release the Snyder cut" has become a rallying cry in certain sections of the internet, with legions of Zack Snyder fans proclaiming their desire to see the original director's version of 2017's Justice League movie. Despite the fact the film's cinematic release is now coming up on its two-year anniversary in November, there still seems to be an appetite for this alternate edit of the movie.

Snyder, who previously helmed Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice within the DC Extended Universe, departed midway through the production of Justice League due to a family tragedy. Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron director Joss Whedon stepped in to finish the film, adding new scenes and famously helming reshoots that necessitated the

'Fast & Furious' Spin-Off, 'Hobbs & Shaw', Ready to Race to a #1 Weekend Finish

'Fast & Furious' Spin-Off, 'Hobbs & Shaw', Ready to Race to a #1 Weekend Finish
It's time to get Fast & Furious in theaters once again, though this time the whole gang isn't here as Universal has spun-off from the primary franchise with the characters played by Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham in Hobbs & Shaw. The film will easily take the #1 spot at this weekend's box office followed by the continued success of Disney's The Lion King. Additionally, eyes will be on Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, eager to see how the film follows up the director's largest opening to date. It has been two years since the last Fast & Furious film and, in some ways, it won't be for another year that we actually get a "true" Fast & Furious film as this weekend's Hobbs & Shaw is a spin-off with characters introduced well after the franchise got its start 18 years ago. Starring Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham as the title characters,

Does Hobbs & Shaw Have Any Post-Credit Scenes?

Does Hobbs & Shaw Have Any Post-Credit Scenes?
It wasn't all that long ago when a post-credit scene was something rare. Something people almost stumbled upon by accident, as few moviegoers ever felt the need to stay after the credits. Does anyone really want to watch all of those names scroll past the screen? However, in recent years, largely thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, they've become common practice. So, the question must be asked when it comes to Hobbs & Shaw, the Fast & Furious spin-off that hits theaters this weekend; does the movie have any post-credit scenes?

We'll start by saying this article will contain precisely zero spoilers. So those who intend to check the movie out this weekend need not worry. That said, Dwayne Johnson, who returns to the role of Luke Hobbs alongside Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw, was asked by a fan on Twitter if there is any need to stay during the end credits.

Henry Cavill Was Asked If He's Still Superman and Things Got Awkward

Henry Cavill Was Asked If He's Still Superman and Things Got Awkward
It's still very much up in the air as to whether or not we're ever going to see Henry Cavill suit back up as Superman, but the actor was forced to confront the issue during San Diego Comic-Con and things got awkward in a hurry. Cavill was at the massive pop culture event to promote his upcoming Netflix series, The Witcher, but he couldn't avoid at least a little bit of attempted prodding about his future as the Man of Steel. Or possible lack thereof.

Henry Cavill and several of his fellow cast members for The Witcher sat down for an interview following the panel for the series at Sdcc, where the first massive trailer was revealed. At one point, the interviewer says, "It's crazy because you're also Superman." To which, Cavill smiles a very unnerving smile, nods his head and then laughs the whole thing off. For those who

The Batman to Begin Shooting in London This January?

After years of development, The Batman is finally gearing up for production and filming is set to begin early next year. Ben Affleck, back when he was still wearing the cape and cowl, had been developing the project to direct and star in. He departed, for various reasons, which paved the way for Warner Bros. to hire Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes) in early 2017. It's been a long road, but now Reeves is finally getting ready to roll cameras, with Robert Pattinson set to star as the iconic hero.

According to a new report, Warner Bros. aims to begin filming The Batman on January 13, with production slated to take place in London, England. This lines up with previous reports that stated Matt Reeves would aim to shoot in early 2020. It also gels with recent reports that the movie entered pre-production last month. So, unless something dramatic and unforeseen happens,

Jack Reacher TV Series in the Works at Amazon

Kirsten Howard Jul 16, 2019

A Tom Cruise-less Jack Racher TV series is in development at Amazon.

Jack Reacher is officially done with Tom Cruise. Variety confirms that Lee Child's 100 million+ selling Jack Reacher books are set to be adapted into a new TV series at Amazon, which apparently scored the rights in a bidding war.

Furthermore, Amazon has tapped Nick Santora (Scorpion) to write the series, and be its showrunner, with Jack Reacher and Mission: Impossible - Fallout director Christopher McQuarrie among its executive producers. It'll form a noted duo of "Jack" projects at Amazon, as Skydance and Paramount Television - responsible for John Krasinski's Jack Ryan - are also onboard the production.

Lee Child warned fans that Jack Reacher was heading for television, and not another movie, last year.

"Cruise, for all his talent, didn’t have that physicality," the author told BBC News. "So what I

Hobbs & Shaw Racing Toward Low $60M Opening, But Will Have Long Box Office Legs

Hobbs & Shaw Racing Toward Low $60M Opening, But Will Have Long Box Office Legs
The early box office projections are in for Hobbs & Shaw and it looks like this could be a profitable way to further the Fast and Furious franchise. The spin-off centers on Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's Luke Hobbs and Jason Statham's Deckard Shaw. This is the first time a spin-off of any kind is being released outside of the main franchise, which makes this something of a gamble for Universal Pictures. But it looks like that gamble is going to pay off. Just perhaps not as big as it would for one of the main entries.

According to a new report, Hobbs & Shaw is tracking for a lower $60 million opening weekend domestically when it arrives in theaters next month. Yes, that is a whole lot lower than the record-breaking box office opening weekends of both Furious 7 ($147 million) and The Fate of the Furious ($98 million). But a spin-off like this
