Creel touches a nearby tire to protect himself from Lincoln's electric blasts. The problem is, tires conduct electricity. Automotive tires are not solid or pure rubber. Carbon black makes up around 28% of a tire by weight and it does conduct electricity.

Vehicles that have solid rubber tires (electrical insulators) also have ground straps dragging on the ground. A rolling insulator will cause a static electric charge to build up on a metal chassis, hence the need of a ground strap. See more »

Re-watch thoughts

Very funny and somewhat upbeat episode (to save for the heartbreak and waterworks of next episode no doubt). The Coulson- Talbot stuff is pure gold, and I liked the twist and how it was framed. Also nice to have the return of Creel and they took the opportunity to address some past events. I guess the one plot I did not enjoy was Daisy and Lincoln, The vaccine discussion is interesting but they made it personal and very one sided. Daisy is really not as open minded as she thinks she is, I am happy the writers are allowing other characters to show opposing views, I just wish they would also allow Daisy to learn and not stubbornly stick to her own views.
