This ten-minute interview with director John Carpenter has him talking about the making of THEY LIVE, his now cult film from 1988. Carpenter starts off talking about the original idea behind the film and how he loved older science fiction movies like INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS. From here the director goes into detail about writing the screenplay, casting Roddy Piper and Keith David and the filming of their epic fight sequence. Carpenter is asked if he should have cut the fight scene down and his response is classic. If you're a fan of the film or the director then you're really going to enjoy this as it contains some great information on what was going on behind-the- scenes but it also talks about the 1980s and how the director really wasn't too happy with Reagan and he wanted that to come across in the movie. Fans will certainly be entertained with this featurette.
