"Scream Queens" Explodes With The New Possibilities Under The Red Mask
23 November 2016 | by pipecaxSee all my reviews

'Thanksgiving' is a national holiday celebrated in all North America, which make a special feast with friends and family—a turkey or "shark", in this case, are the main dish—to demonstrate each other gratitude that sits in their hearts. Usually, very few American shows focus certain episode in this celebration, nonetheless, even though Murphy comedy-drama series utilized this holiday as a centerpiece to disentangle its objectives, its spontaneous revelations were those who took a close-up. After ten episodes of bloody killings, dangerous chases and deadly conspiracies, would who be more grateful than "Scream Queens" ridiculous survivors?

Possibly, Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk have left the unquestioned fear of ending the life of beloved characters behind, or at least that's what make to understand the superb cliffhanger in "Ghost Stories". Continuing with apparent new innovation, the tenth episode opens with a death unexpected, achieving something unusual into a horror series: redesigning whole scheme of who can be the original 'Red Devil Killer'. And although none of the characters becomes aware of the important death until the ending of the episode, "Thanksgiving" focuses on deploying a vast number of possibilities and impossibilities around who seems to be who is not, leaving satisfactory gifts and breakthroughs along the way.

Pretending to conceive a dense universe of the chimerical world of Murphy, initially, the series introduces two of the ignorant and filthy rich families in the show, respectively the Swensons and the Radwells. Chanel #3 travels with expectancy to the home of her family in order to talk, eat and enjoy one peaceful and cheerful moment out from dangerous Wallace University facilities, nevertheless, she finds to the same dysfunctional family of a few years ago. This scene is useful only giving context and possible triggers of the mysterious life of Sadie (A.K.A Chanel #3) and offer her a concise reason to return to her true house, Kappa Kappa Tau.

Following this, Radwell lineage makes its triumphant appearance. Different celebrities play a singular cameo within "the worst family in America—"said by Chanel Oberlin. Alan Thicke is Chad's daddy, Chad Michael Murray and Patrick Schwarzenegger portray the petulant brothers and the amazing Julia Duffy is the mother, who orchestrates to the despicable family in a fiercely funny Thanksgiving dinner. Throughout droll soiree, it is possible to detail the deep and imaginative creation skill of its writers, each peculiar personality, each iconic moment, each line and of course each ingenious invention in order to make us burst out laughing (Radwell Pictionary).

Thanks to one introspective scene where Chanel Oberlin calls her mother to ask for advice, the father of Chad storms into the bathroom and offers her a trivial sum of money as long as she goes. Besides this and many jokes more in relation to the "powerful" family Oberlin, Chanel has taken charge to sell the idea of belonging to a favored stock— her great-great-great grandfather signed the declaration of independence, nevertheless, nobody knows him because he was the last to sign, and no one takes enough time to read his name on the treaty,— however, seeing non-existent knowledge of her family among the Radwell—they are really one of the most famous American families,— we can think Chanel has concocted everything and possibly suffers from some kind of disorder or trauma with her socioeconomic level.

It is difficult to accept that Denise Hemphill does not form part of one of the most outstanding episodes— in terms of narrative and comedy refers,— bearing in mind that Mama Denise runs numerous comical comments in the series, nonetheless, she might resume her extraordinary role in the following episodes predominantly. Only three episodes left for the majestic climax, it is for this reason that subplots have been discerned at all in order to focus on assembling the final pieces more deliberately. "Scream Queens" resurfaces with a great twist plot, strongly significant deaths and the iconic and peculiar humor sense that characterize it most. The final stages approaching and soon will be unmasked the serial killer.
