Goofs

The inside and outside of Olivia's apartment don't match. Hers is one of two apartments on the floor, and the hallway is roughly square with the two apartment doors opposite, and the elevator and stairwell doors opposite. Since the hallway, elevator and stairwell create a long straight corridor the apartments must also be straight, yet Olivia's apartment has an interior hallway at a right angle to the door, leading to the bedroom. The opening kidnap scene in this episode gives a particularly good vantage on the apartment layout and exterior hall. See more »

Quotes

[first lines]
Olivia Pope: [answering the door] Hmm. You're just in time.
Jake Ballard: You look happy.
Olivia Pope: Are you coming in? I found two bottles of Du Bellay at this tiny, little wine shop in Adams Morgan. Two!
Jake Ballard: Liv, I need to talk to you about your father.
