Season 2 looks even more promising than it did before
5 March 2015 | by arussell23See all my reviews

In the final ten minutes of this episode, we find out who killed Lila, and a new mystery pops up. Sounds exciting, right? Well, that may make it sound like those last ten minutes are the best part of the two- hour finale, which they aren't. The other 110 minutes are very worthwhile as well.

First off, let's say this. Viola Davis, throughout this season, has been remarkably consistent with her amazing acting, and I'm in shock at how well she portrays this character. Looking back, she is probably the best person on the show. And she really does deliver whenever she's near, making sure that everything stays in tip top shape.

However, that's not to say the rest of the cast didn't do a fantastic job, because they did. As Rebecca's arc comes to a close in this episode, she manages to portray her character as well as anybody would believe. Wes, Michaela, Laurel and Connor all do fantastic jobs as well.

Perhaps the best part about this episode is the amount of depth it achieves. After a season of some hits and misses, this episode finally nails it on the head, with a case of the week that manages to make us feel, and a final act for these characters that will make you want to hug them or strangle them.

Before you go into this episode, however, know this. The episode ends on a MASSIVE cliffhanger. Sadly, it won't be resolved till at least September, but it will manage to live up to any hype surrounding it. I guarantee.

Overall, Murder has been a wild ride from start to finish. I'm very pumped for Season 2.

Season Grade: 8/10. 2-Hour Finale Grade: 9.5/10. Final Episode Grade: 10/10.
