The show's best episode yet
11 May 2015 | by moviefansmeSee all my reviews

This is an incredibly good episode of a very good show. A typical episode contains a handful of short skits and a celebrity interview, but this episode is one long skit, one where the star of the show steps aside and gives her comedic friends the spotlight.

The setting is a spoof of "12 Angry Men," yet the skit is not so much of a spoof as leveraging a familiar meme to settle a new, comedic dilemma: Is Amy (Schumer) hot enough to be on television? The writers run with the premise and the arguments the various jurors make for and against, and what convinces each one to change his mind, are both clever and funny. The actors likewise sink their teeth into their parts, each displaying a distinctly different personality.

This episode raises the bar on an already strong show and should be nominated for an Emmy.
