Pretty Light on New Informaton
4 December 2017 | by HitchcocSee all my reviews

As one who has watched and enjoyed science fiction movies, if you were to give me a computer, a room, and a chair, I think I could have written the script for this documentary from memories I had. Granted, there were some salient comments from John Carpenter and John Landis, and a bit of insider information from some people in the business. But it was all predictable. So much was spent on Dr. Who. I have watched quite a number of these, but I never quite got the intense feeling of Daleks these guys did. Of course, this is a BBC production. I knew there would be the atomic thing and the big lizards and other things. ET would be there too. Anyway, I don't know how much effort was made to hold these episodes above what had already been done.
