Did You Know?

The idea that it was a member (or former member) of ETA that taught Escobar's organization to make car bombs and other explosives comes from Escobar's top hit-man John Jairo Velasquez aka "Popeye". The bomber in question, named only "Miguel" or "Miguelito" by Popeye, has never been identified. According to Popeye, "Miguel" was later discovered trying to sell his services to the rival Cali Cartel and Escobar ordered to have him murdered, dismembered and his remains thrown in a river. "The Spaniard" is named Efram Gonzales. Efram is not a Spanish (or Basque) name. The closest is Efraín (or Efraim), but this is such an uncommon first name in Spain that it would be pegged immediately as belonging to a Latin American immigrant. "Gonzales" is also a Latin American spelling: In Spain it would be "González". See more »

Great, action packed episode
12 February 2017 | by 851222See all my reviews

Greetings from Lithuania.

"Explosivos" was the best episode since the opening pilot for sure. Story moved forward, it was highly involving and kinda unpredictable (well, if you don't know the story). Acting, directing, writing and cinematography were great - it got me glued to the screen for all running time. And speaking about cinematography, this show has one of the best camera work currently on the market - hands down.

Overall, 6 episode delivered good in all possible way. I highly enjoyed the previous episodes, and this got some big payoffs. Can't wait to see next chapters of this truly great show all around.
