After a single quality day with Kate, Walden feels ready to propose again, but as his house-mates warned, all it takes for the hopeless romantic to switch course completely is Vivian, an adventurous stranger who comes ask for some water. Alas Walden's unintended fickleness ends up making his crotch feel abused like a carnival bullseye. Alan's happy time with Gretchen in Barry's apartment as Jeff Strongman cruelly collapse when she finds his wallet, yet she soon realizes it's no worse then what she did and proposes a new start as themselves.
Did You Know?
When Walden is imagining being in a black and white '60s sitcom he does a forward flip as he crosses the living room. This is a take off from the The Dick Van Dyke Show
(1961). In the opening credits, 'Rob Petrie' would often comically trip over the ottoman. Rob would sometimes head for the ottoman and at the last second do a quick sidestep. When Walden does his flip they play a piano sound very similar as when Rob would trip. See more
Vivian said she was a Sherpa in Nepal. This cannot be true because the Sherpa are a tribe. See more
