With a new addition to the big screen adaptation of Stephen King's bone-chilling It now in theaters, that means Pennywise the Clown has also arrived to terrorize us. While the spooky villain appeared more as a standard clown in the 1990 miniseries, the latest version of Pennywise is significantly more horrifying. So, who's the man underneath the clown's fearsome veneer in It Chapter Two? It's Swedish actor Bill Skarsgard once again!

You might recognize Skarsgard's name thanks to older brother Alexander Skarsgard, famous for True Blood and Big Little Lies or their father, longtime actor and Thor star Stellan Skarsgard. It and its sequel also aren't his first forays into horror. After racking up a host of roles in movies like Simple Simon (for which he was nominated for the Swedish equivalent of an Oscar), Anna Karenina, and Victoria, he starred on all

The Upcoming G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes Movie Will Reportedly Start Shooting This Fall

It looks like Paramount Pictures and Hasbro are getting ready to move forward on their next G.I. Joe movie, and this one will focus on none other than Snake Eyes.

According to HollywoodNorth.buzz, G.I. Joe: Snake Eyes is supposed to start shooting this fall in Vancouver. They say that that the movie will shoot from October 15th to December 9th. Apparently the crew members already set up at the location are going around wearing G.I. Joe production shirts.

Evan Spiliotopoulos (Beauty and the Beast and The Huntsman: Winter's War) was previously hired to write the script. We have no idea what the story for the film will tell, but I do like the fact that Snake Eyes is getting his own movie. He’s a fan favorite G.I. Joe character and has been the best part of the two previous G.I. Joe films.

The Upcoming G.I. Joe Snake Eyes Film May Be Directed By Robert Schwentke

In case you forgot, Paramount Pictures is still planning to make a new G.I. Joe movie and the last we heard is that movie will focus on the fan favorite character Snake Eyes.

According to Variety, the studio is in talks with Robert Schwentke to direct the film. Schwentke has been hit and miss with some of his previous projects. Some of those films include Red, The Time Traveler’s Wife, R.I.P.D., Insurgent, Allegiant, and The Captain, which was a great film!

The script for Snake Eyes is being written by Evan Spiliotopoulos, who previously wrote Beauty and the Beast and The Huntsman: Winter’s War.

I’m on board with the idea of Snake Eyes getting his own movie. I hope that this movie will serve as a reboot to the G.I. Joe film franchise. I’m not a big fan of the previous two films, and I’ve

The Darkest Minds Review

  • HeyUGuys
About ten years ago, give or take, the Ya adaptation movement was beginning with the Twilight phenomena sweeping the globe. It was Stephanie Meyer’s books that gave a new pulse to the fiction sub-genre and Hollywood took notice. Within a few years, a plethora of novels were optioned into movies, notably The Hunger Games and Divergent, and the cash registers went into overdrive with studios being handsomely rewarded for their investments and risks.

Then, suddenly, the bubble burst – those who had championed the franchises had become adults and those coming of age found their attentions turning to other things. The Divergent series didn’t even get to finish its run with part three, Allegiant, tanking at the box office and part four still in limbo but we can safely assume that we won’t see it anytime soon. But such failure hasn’t seen the train slow down and

Podtalk: Director Robert Schwentke of German War Film ‘The Captain’

Chicago – Films about the Nazis and the German military during World War II are numerous… except for the ones with a pure German perspective. “The Captain,” directed by Robert Schwentke (“R.I.P.D.”), is based on a true story about a German army deserter who finds a Captain’s uniform, and decides to ride out the waning days of the war with the power of an officer.

Max Hubacher is Willi Herold, the deserter, and his icy cold performance is one of the highlights of “The Captain.” Herold will stop at nothing to survive against the constant chase on the run from the German army, and once he gets a taste of officer power he is not about to let go. His journey takes him to a prison holding other deserters, and his decisions there are based on getting the assignment done quickly and to his larcenous advantage. When complications arise there,
