This is much better than people are crediting it. The cinimarography alone should give it a high rating.
The acting was a little thin all around, no one stood out, well maybe the witch, but the screenplay was very light. By this I mean sparse dialogue which gives you room to THINK. The story is not fed to you like pablum.
Perhaps I liked it so much because of this.
Also. The costuming was excellent and the use of natural lighting really added to the story.
Watch this movie with an open mind. Perhaps, when you are in a more introspective mood.
