A Must See Documentary
17 August 2014 | by sandyfarewellSee all my reviews

If you think Aids is a disease that we have conquered, or happens in a far away country, or can't devastate a family in suburban America, you need to see this film. One family's courage in opening their lives after a personal tragedy underscores the need for our education system to provide comprehensive information about sexually transmitted diseases to keep our kids safe.

The story also focuses on the lack of sensitivity, compassion and understanding by vocal members of a community as they promote homophobia and deny individual human rights. This is an important movie that shows the battle is not over yet, Aids and intolerance still threaten teens in America and awareness is the first step in wiping both out for good.
