Trivia

The date Salomina's eyes were scanned into the system at the community center was on 11-3-2013 which sums up to 11. See more »

Goofs

Karen says the results from Salomina's test lie "within standard margin". However, one can not calculate the unbiased sample variance of one-sample sets and, hence, you can not know whether a result from a single test lies within any kind of confidence intervals or margins. In fact, the empirical variance of one-sample-sets is a sort of running gag among statisticians. Researchers with even the slightest background in statistics, let alone the internationally-known empirical scientists, would never say such a thing nor would they abandon such a promising project based on only one interview. Quotes

[first lines]
Ian: Every living person on this planet has their own unique pair of eyes. Each their own universe. My name is Doctor Ian Gray. I'm a father, and husband, and I'm a scientist. When I was a child, I realized that the camera was designed exactly like the human eye, taking in light through a lens, forming it into images. I began taking as many pictures of eyes as I possibly could. I'd like to tell you the story of the eyes that changed my world.

Just wow.....
31 January 2015 | by globespySee all my reviews

I read a bunch of reviews before seeing this, ranging from great to creepy, insular, society (religion) programmed ones. This is a beautiful, thought provoking and heart warming experience that transcends the characters and the human flaws inherent in life. Love indeed comes in many shapes and forms and the first time we see Sofi, she is hidden, only her eyes are the connection point. This was poetic, without seeing her, there was something unexplainable in their connection, something magnetic that brought them together and held them together across time until they saw each other again. The idea that our lives are endless, that we continue to exist beyond our current form was so beautifully portrayed, and I found the movie incredibly touching. A+++
