Quotes

Narrator: Perhaps you've seen it, maybe in a dream. A murky, forgotten land. A place where souls may mend your ailing mind. You will lose everything... once Branded. The symbol of the curse. An augur of darkness. Your past. Your future. Your very light. None will have meaning, and you won't even care... By then, you'll be something other than human.

Terrible
9 August 2016 | by JimmyWhimmyNutrinSonSee all my reviews

I didn't like the first Dark Souls game for various reasons. So I was dreading buying this game. But I wanted to try it out. I've played plenty of games where I've not enjoyed the first installment but liked the sequel. How wrong I was with this sequel. It's awful.

What's my main problem with this? It's just a weird game. It feels as if the game wants to put you in a room full of enemies in hopes of making it difficult. Why? Because this game has an artificial sense of difficulty. I didn't find it that hard compared to the first game, but it just seemed boring. There was no challenge. It was very boring. That's the main reason I really don't like the game. Some of the bosses looked inventive, but the others were just unoriginal. They're either giant rats or copies of Dark Souls 1 bosses.

It's basically a boring and dumbed down version of Dark Souls 1. Avoid at all costs.
