Storyline

Victoria wakes with a head-ache and bandaged wrists, pills spilled on the floor. A strange sign is flickering on the television but she can remember nothing. Outside she meets Jem, a young woman who explains that the signal on the television set comes from the White Bear transmitter. It has turned most of the population into voyeurs who do nothing but watch and sometimes film as a deadly elite known as the hunters kill those unaffected by the signal, such as Jem and Victoria. Escaping from a hunter they reach the White Bear transmitter, which they intend to destroy. However the White Bear set-up is not what it first appears and nor is Victoria. Written by don @ minifie-1

White Bear Justice Park
19 April 2019 | by scottsetchellSee all my reviews

Victoria wakes up without memory of who or where she is. A symbol is broadcast on all the TV screens. She finds a picture of herself with a man and a photo of a girl she thinks could be her daughter. She leaves the house and notices everyone is following and recording her. She's chased by a gunman to a gas station, where she's saved by a girl named Jem. She says the signal turned most of the population into spectators and some into hunters.

I can't say much more without spoilers but this episode is a mind bender. It fully comes clean at the end so it can be completely understood. The plot pulls you in and before you know it totally dissolves into an unimaginable scenario.

Overall the acting and directing is great. I would classify this episode as a sci-fi/horror/thriller. It's a powerful dystopian episode that observes criminal justice, punishment, vigilantism, desensitization, media coverage of murders and human nature. It's one of the best episodes so far.
