This wonderful Jonathan Morgan comedy establishes once and for all that Wicked contract star Alektra Blue is a talented actress, not merely the well-built porn icon we Adult Cinema fans know and love. I wish Morgan had bottled or at least remembered the winning format he delivers here, far better than the lion's share of more recent Adult releases including his own.
Instead of the mindlessness of today's wall-to-wall sex format, and avoiding the sturm und drang seriousness of most story-line Adult features, Morgan adopts an upbeat, relentlessly positive approach centered on heroine Alektra convinced that today (a day off from work) is her best day ever! Her cutesy enthusiasm (peppered with highly effective campy dialog from some uncredited screenwriter) is contagious, and the five sex vignettes unfold as erotic daydreams by every grumpy person she meets, after she asks each of them to imagine their best day ever.
Of course, Alektra being the DVD's showcased star gets her share of the action, humping UPS delivery man Ramon Nomar and later cop Danny Mountain. Along the way, delightful (as always) eccentric neighbor Dana DeArmond imagines herself as a latex-clad dominatrix abusing the paper boy Xander Corvus; neighbor Tommy Gunn imagines fellow neighbor Lisa Ann seducing him; and Alektra's pal Chanel Preston dreaming of her boss Richie Calhoun not only servicing her on his desk at the office but then proposing marriage.
Aided by a happy score, one can almost see behind-the-camera Morgan smiling at his handiwork, even contriving a perfect happy ending to this highly positive and amusing fable. If the Supreme Court were still reviewing Adult films (like in the '70s) to see if they were obscene or had redeeming social value, Wicked could submit this buoyant, utterly delightful video as proof that pornography can be uplifting.
