  • The segment with Grover pretending to be on the moon was replaced with another song, "The Moon Shines" by Jerry Nelson.
  • "The King's Problem" read by Maria is replaced with Anansi the Spider telling the story about how the sun and the moon came into the sky.
  • The original version of the video (Bedtime) featured the '70s version of Joe Raposo's "Everybody Sleeps," whereas the reissue (Sleepytime) features the version that originally aired in the '90s with re-filmed material and a remix of the song.
