Quotes

Amanda Rollins: [to Holly] You know, I'm from a small town too. I come up here to the city, I think things are gonna be different, my life's gonna change.
Holly Schneider: You don't get it! You're like Meghan. How long have you been in New York? And you're already a detective? You're just like her. Everything just handed to you. Guys jumping up to help you, nice apartments, upgrades to first-class. All you have to do is show up...
Nick Amaro: And you get the part.

Interactive avant garde drama

I have to say this, the off Broadway theater can be one mighty strange place to be making your living in. Aspiring actress Jenn Proske is appearing in an audience participation play where people simulate sex acts. Only some dude with a goat mask gets up on stage and starts really doing it. I can't quite swallow the premise of this SVU episode where the whole audience doesn't realize they're watching a real live rape in progress.

Proske with some mighty strange people. Her roommate and fellow cast member Gayle Rankin is jealous of her. The director Fisher Stevens especially with this kind of play takes a hands on interest in his company. And Proske has a possessive fan who has bugged her apartment with cameras. Naturally Adam Driver becomes a suspect.

Seeing this story who would want a career in theater?
