During the 22nd Century, science and technology had advanced beyond ethical bounds, so most of mankind reversed course. The cast was originally Amber Masterson (as Kat), Brenden Whitney (as Blake), Cal Nguyen (as Jim), Frank Rodrigez (as Landon), Lauren Jones-Gardner (as Rosie), Natalie Snow (as Rachael), Shaun Frenza (as Cameron) and Thomas Owens (as Russell). I was drawn in after seeing an ad for this show which I believed was because of my love for all things Fallout (the video game series). Day Zero reminds me of LOST and X-Files as far as TV goes but for games, more so like The Last of Us, Hulk or Fallout. I was hooked from the beginning to end, the realism and attention to detail was put to good use. For example, women in this environment still want to look pretty and I don't blame them (that's a natural human response to escaping the realities of a post-apocalyptic situation). Many "what if" scenarios here, some may think "controversial" (especially in Season 2). Fantastic little indie :)
