Storyline

Harry, against her better judgment, agrees to defend Eric Sanders, a man accused of savagely killing his wife. She takes the case at the request of Oliver Richard - a hot-shot attorney from the very firm that fired her the previous year. The extremely high-profile case brings Harry toe-to-toe with the head honcho herself, D.A. Roseanna Remmick. Meanwhile, new associate Cassie Reynolds represents an artist whose painting was unceremoniously altered by the purchaser. Elsewhere, Tommy Jefferson, forces his way into sharing Harry's new office space and pursues a box store giant, vying to be their local counsel in a huge class action lawsuit. All that was good in Season 1 has been lost
20 January 2012 | by johnpindarSee all my reviews

Season 1 was an essential part of my wife and my weekly viewing. The legal practice was set up in a shoe shop in a very rough neighbourhood. The great scenes were often when Harry was helping to sort out problems in the area. Another enjoyable aspect were the characters of Jenna the not-so-dumb blonde shoe salesperson and Malcolm the "student" lawyer.

We looked forward to the second season but found the legal practice had moved into an ordinary office in an ordinary area surrounded by ordinary fellow lawyers - and not a pair of ladies sling-backs in sight.

We'll give the new season a few more episodes but at the moment it's seems to have lost all the best aspects of the first series.
